Boston Celtics Rumors: Avery Bradley not an option at point guard

The Boston Celtics are trying to make improvements this year that will result in a possible playoff appearance, which is easier said than done. Boston has already suffered set backs, which is making figuring out the training camp roster difficult.

Rajon Rondo breaking his hand set the team back and has them scrambling to find options on the roster to replace him. Marcus Smart will be at the top of the list, but there are names not being considered.

According to Gary Washburn, Avery Bradley is one of those names not being considered.

Bradley is one of the few Celtics veterans ont he team, and his not being considered to replace Rondo is huge. What the Celtics are saying is they want Smart to lead the team, which is further proof that the veterans in Boston are getting pushed out.
