EJ Manuel might not get a chance to start an NFL game for quite some time. The Buffalo Bills demoted the quarterback on Monday and will instead move forward with Kyle Orton as the team’s signal caller.

But if/when Manuel gets another shot, the quarterback will be a different player, he told ESPN.
"“When I am out there, I want to be a different player,” Manuel said. “I just want to cut it loose, man, not hold myself back. Not to say I was, but I think at certain points in your career, in your manhood, you just open up and let it rip."
It’s good to see that Manuel has a positive outlook on things. He clearly is suggesting that he’s hoping to learn from the time not in the starting lineup.
"“When this happened, obviously I was upset and frustrated. But at the same time, be a man, be a pro. I kicked up my work ethic even more,” Manuel said. “Be more consistent with everything: how the ball is coming out of my hands, my annunciation in the huddle, all those types of things.”"
The Bills drafted Manuel with the No. 16 pick of the 2013 NFL Draft. He has thrown for 838 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions so far this season.
