Dan Carpenter hit a 58-yard field goal to push the Buffalo Bills past the Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions took a 14-0 first half lead over the Buffalo Bills and looked like the might run away with it.

The Bills had other plans.

After a pair of Dan Carpenter field goals cut the lead to six, Kyle Orton found Chris Gragg for a two-yard touchdown. After Fred Jackson ran in the two-point conversion, the game was tied.

The Lions had a chance to win but Alex Henery’s 50-yard attempt was no good.

On the next play, Kyle Orton found Sammy Watkins for a 20-yard gain. One play later, Dan Carpenter nailed a 58-yard field goal to give the Bills the victory.
