Many NFL fans thought that when the Altanta Falcons traveled to New York to face the Giants this week that points would be aplenty. Some thought that the punters would barely see any work.

That has not been the case so far, as the teams have combined for only 30 points in 40 minutes of play. While that is not far off from their respective season averages, the recent play of Eli Manning and Matt Ryan prompted the belief that this would be a shootout.

Falcon punter Matt Bosher has seen plenty of work so far today. He has punted three times, and sometimes even the punter gets knocked down. Such as on this play when Jason Pierre-Paul of the Giants accidentally makes contact with Bosher sending him up in the air. This is how Bosher landed:

Who said that punters weren’t athletes? Both Pierre-Paul and Bosher were unharmed, and there was no penalty on the play.

The Falcons now lead the game 20-10, marking the largest lead for either team so far this afternoon.

You can bet the Bosher will see some more action before the conclusion of this game. Next up in his acrobatic routine: a standing backflip!
