Following the Cincinnati Bengals demoralizing loss to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots on Sunday night some fans were understandably disappointed by the showing from the Bengals after starting the season 3-0. Some fans even may have jumped off of the Bengals bandwagon moving forward this season. According to Cincinnati safety Geroge Iloka however, it seems the team isn’t worried about losing those fans at all.

After the game in Foxboro Iloka was asked by ESPN about the possibility of those bandwagon fans jumping off and he had some pretty strong remarks.

"“Let them jump off,” Iloka said. “I’m not worried about the people who jump off. We don’t want them as fans anyway.”“We look to the Patriots, how they came out and lost on Monday night in prime time and saw all their fair-weather fans jump off the bandwagon,” Iloka said. “They’re probably back on after they beat us. So we look to them and see how they came out, and we hope to do the same things on Sunday and beat the Panthers.”"

Iloka is a young play maker in the Cincinnati Bengals secondary and it seems as if he has the support of his whole squad when making these statements. This Bengals team may have gotten a little too much hype with media types anointing them the best team in the AFC and some saying they were the best team in the NFL, but they are simply focused on the task at hand. After the prime time loss, the Bengals will face the Carolina Panthers in Cincinnati this weekend at 1:00.
