Terrelle Pryor recently worked out for the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Cincinnati Bengals recently entertained the idea of signing former Ohio State great Terrelle Pryor. However, the Bengals weren’t looking at Pryor to backup quarterback Andy Dalton. Rather, Cincy was considering Pryor as a receiver.

From Bengals.com:
"The Bengals brought in a host of wideouts to work out Tuesday before they settled on Little, among them former Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor and former Bengals sixth-round pick Cobi Hamilton, released on this past cutdown day."
Cincy, looking for a receiver to replace the injured Marvin Jones, ultimately passed on Pryor, signing Greg Little instead.
It’s interesting that Pryor would be worked out as a receiver, considering he has only played quarterback at the collegiate and NFL level. But switching to receiver might be Pryor’s only shot at making an NFL team.
Pryor, a selection by the Oakland Raiders in the third round of the 2011 Supplemental Draft, was unable to carve out a successful career as a signal caller. Pryor appeared in just 14 games for Oakland and threw for 1,953 yards, nine touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
For the Bengals, passing on Pryor in favor of Little was probably the smart move. Little has not had a great career, either. But he surely is a more polished receiver than Pryor at this point. With A.J. Green injured at the moment as well, the Bengals aren’t really in a position to take a flier on a project like Pryor.
