Reggie Wayne is expected to miss 1-2 weeks with an elbow injury that he suffered in Sunday’s win against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Reggie Wayne of the Indianapolis Colts is part of the best wide receiver duo in the NFL, statistically, this season but he’ll have to take a short break from big gainers and touchdowns thrown from quarterback Andrew Luck as he will miss 1-2 weeks after suffering an elbow injury in Sunday’s win against the Cincinnati Bengals.

According to Mike Chappell of RTV6 in Indianapolis, the Colts wide receiver is expected to miss a game or two because of an elbow injury suffered early in Sunday’s win over the Bengals.
He fell after a play, bracing himself with his left arm as he fell. He had an MRI yesterday, but no results were announced.
Wayne himself showed reporters that he wasn’t too concerned after the game adding some comedy:
“I’m good now,” he said. “I just kind of fell on it, fell on my arm. Go home, have an adult beverage and see how it feels in the morning.”
The 35-year-old who missed the 2013 season with a torn ACL has bounce back in stunning fashion. He has 434 yards and a touchdown this season, the complement to T.Y. Hilton as they are the best wide receiving duo in the NFL combined with Hilton’s 711 yards and a touchdown.
The Colts have the best offense in the NFL and are surging on a five game win streak with a 5-2 record, looking for another playoff berth with quarterback Andrew Luck and potentially their first Super Bowl since 2006.
