With a home game against the St. Louis Rams many expected the Kansas City Chiefs to have a big game on Sunday. Sure, St. Louis has a solid defense but their offense has been questionable at best.

So far that has proven to be the case as the Kansas City Chiefs hold a 17-7 lead in the second half and look to be in position to claim a victory. Part of that success has been due to running back Jamaal Charles who, despite some rather poor rushing yards, has come through when it counted with a tough touchdown.

Facing a first and goal, Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith handed the rock off to Jamaal Charles who powered through the St. Louis Rams front seven with relative ease.

Charles, who was hammered on a hit earlier in the game as well as during last week’s tilt against the San Diego Chargers, lowered his head and plowed through the line as if he was running through a bubble.

There was some concern regarding the hit Charles took given the situation last week, though it appears as if the Kansas City Chiefs running back is doing just fine and continues to collect touchdowns.
