Unless you’ve been living under a rock you’ve probably heard about the ‘Kevin Durant curse’. You may not know the back story however which involved Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant suggesting that rapper ‘Lil B’ was awful and wondering how people could listen to him.
Durant posted his feelings on social media which caught the wrath of ‘Lil B’ who then put a ‘curse’ on Durant suggesting the NBA star would never win a title. So far it’s proven to be effective from that standpoint and now with Durant injured, Denver Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson wants no part of the famed curse.
Lawson, speaking during a Reddit AMA was asked what type of music he was currently listening to.
In a rather hilarious response, Ty Lawson stated Lil B because he doesn’t want that ‘Kevin Durant curse’.
Lil B has famously mentioned he’s been compared to Ty Lawson before and has mentioned him in his rhymes which makes the admission from the Denver Nuggets point guard even more humorous.
Kevin Durant was trolled by the rapper after suffering his foot injury earlier this month with the ‘musician’ suggesting the curse was still in effect.
For what it’s worth, Durant has all but suggested whatever silly beef the two had was over and swept things under the rug. Lil B however seems to feel differently which is why Ty Lawson appears to be watching his back, at least from a musical standpoint.
A witty and hilarious response to a rather basic question. Well deserving of a golf clap, Ty Lawson. Well done.
