The Cincinnati Bengals have sputtered in recent weeks after a hot start to their season. They did come through with a big win against the Baltimore Ravens last week, and they will look to keep things pointed the right direction with what looks to be an easy match-up against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
It looks like there is good news for the Bengals on the injury front in advance of this game. A.J. Green, who has been out the past three games with a toe injury, will return to the lineup today. Per Adam Schefter:
Bengals WR AJ Green, who has missed past three games with a toe injury, will play today, per league source.

Green practiced all week, so pending an unfortunate turn, he was expected to be out there. Still, given some close calls in previous weeks, it will be a relief for the Bengals to be certain that they have Green back in the lineup;
Mohamed Sanu served admirably as the top wide receiver in Green’s absence, but the offense clearly has not been the same without him. What might be even more concerning in Cincinnati is the team’s struggle to get their running game going, something that may or may not have to do with the fact they have been missing Green on the outside.
Unfortunately the team won’t be helped in that regard in week 9, as starting running back Giovani Bernard is out of the lineup with an injury of his own.
Green, Andy Dalton, and the rest of the Bengals’ offense will try to build some momentum moving forward in a nice match-up with the Jaguars on Sunday.
