Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans trolls Cleveland Browns quarterback and former college teammate Johnny Manziel by doing the money sign.

More from Cleveland Browns

Although Mike Evans and Johnny Manziel play for different NFL teams, it wasn’t that long ago when the two were sharing the field together as teammates at Texas A&M.

Evans and Manziel were one of the best combinations in college football though Johnny Football has struggled to get off the pine with the Cleveland Browns since mildly slipping in the draft. Mike Evans meanwhile has benefited from more early NFL success as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver has been one of the best rookies through the first half of the NFL season.

Such was on display today when the wideout nabbed an impressive touchdown passes, though it’s not the catch which will draw the most attention but rather his celebration afterwards.

With multiple members of his team climbing on top of him, Mike Evans (perhaps in tribute) decided to rub his fingers together in effort to do his own money sign.

He didn’t stop either as he made his way back to the sideline where he continued to troll the Cleveland Browns.

While it’s a pretty solid troll job on the part of Evans, it was likely partly in effort to not only rile up the crowd but to also give his good friend some props being the game is being played in Ohio.

Certainly one of the better celebrations we’ve seen on the year given the circumstances.
