The Cincinnati Bengals have been one of the best teams in the NFL this season, and are looking like a sure lock to make the playoffs. Andy Dalton has been having a nice season, but wide receiver Mohamed Sanu has come through in a big way to boost the offense due to all of the injury problems that star receiver A.J. Green has been dealing with this season.
Sanu came through with another big play for the Bengals this afternoon against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and caught a 19-yard touchdown to put his team up 7-3. He has shown major improvement from last season and has jumped from being a solid role player to one of the biggest playmakers on the team. It doesn’t appear that he is going to slow down anytime soon, and the Bengals are happy to pair him with Green now that he is back on the field.
Needless to say, this has been a surprising season from Sanu and the Bengals. They were expected to be contenders in the AFC, but they weren’t expected to lose their best offensive player to injury for a good chunk of the beginning of the year. Sanu has been one of the biggest reasons for their play early on this year, and he will continue being a big target for Dalton.
