Andy Dalton threw a costly interception as the Cincinnati Bengals battle the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night to kick off the NFL schedule for week 10.

The Cincinnati Bengals need the good Andy Dalton on Thursday night. They are playing at home in front of a national audience with a chance to seize first place in the AFC North. Truly, they need the good Dalton.

Bad news for them: in the early going of this game, it is unquestionably the bad Andy Dalton. He started things off early with an ugly interception that set up a touchdown for the Browns. This got him started on a 1-for-7 passing line for 5 yards in the first quarter. Yikes.

Here is video of the pick from Cleveland lineback Craig Robinson:

The Bengals have not lost a home game during the regular season since 2012. In the meantime, the Browns have lost their last 17 road games within the division. That means two mighty streaks could fall tonight if the Browns and their opportunistic defense emerge victorious.

As long as Andy Dalton plays like the turnover-machine bad version of himself, the Bengals will be in trouble. If they lose, Brian Hoyer and the Browns will be tied for first place themselves. There is plenty on the line in this AFC North showdown between the two Ohio teams.
