Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Geno Atkins is ridiculous. Against the Cleveland Browns on NFL Thursday Night Football, he blew through the offensive line to sack Brian Hoyer before the quarterback knew what happened.

It all started off like a simple handoff to running back Ben Tate. It was supposed to be so darn easy. But it wasn’t. It wasn’t easy at all. And that ground–the ground that Brian Hoyer’s face ended up kissing–looked hard.

Facing the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football, Cincinnati Bengal’s defensive tackle Geno Atkins tore through the offensive line and sacked Hoyer before he was even able to give the ball off to Tate or follow through with the play action.

It was terrifying.

As you can see, the offensive line slid to the right. It seems no one decided it would be a good idea to block Geno Atkins, who was uncontested on his way to a quarterback feast. Nam nam nam.

The best part? No. 77 on the Browns (I was going to look up his name, but he doesn’t deserve it.) just stands there in pure disbelief over the events that just took place. Okay, I looked it up. It was John Greco. Apparently he sucks.

Despite the crap play of the o-line, not every tackle can do this. Geno Atkins is a dominant pass rushing tackle, and this play just shows off his explosion off the line.
