Just how bad are things for the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football? Head coach Marvin Lewis got tackled by his own player.

Week 10 of the NFL season is underway with the Cincinnati Bengals hosting the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football. Unfortunately for the home team, the game has been a disaster.

The Bengals can’t seem to get anything going and it only managed to get worse in the third quarter.

As Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick worked down the sideline to cover a punt, he ended up tackling Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis. Yes, the Bengals defenders were struggling to tackle Browns offensive players, but they had no trouble tackling their head coach.

Man, poor Marvin Lewis.

You can see video of the Bengals coach getting tackled by his own player right here:

The Bengals are currently trailing the Browns, 17-3, and they have been completely dominated since the beginning of the game.

Andy Dalton seems to think the Bengals are already in a playoff game, because he has been off the mark and the rest of the Bengals’ roster has failed to make up for their quarterback’s struggles.

At least they gave us one for the blooper reel this week.
