Without franchise running back Arian Foster, who was out with injury and quarterback Ryan Mallett making his first ever NFL start the Houston Texans weren’t given much of a chance against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
But strong play on both sides of the ball, especially from defensive star J.J. Watt has turned the would-be laughter into a winnable game for the Houston Texans.
That’s despite two roughing the punter calls, both on Watt who understandably drew the ire of Cleveland Browns fans who unloaded on the Pro Bowl talent as he was on the Texans sidelines.
Unhappy with Watt and feeling as if he was attempting to hurt their punter, Cleveland Browns fans raining down boo’s on Watt who had one message for them – bring it.
J.J. Watt is of course one of the most kind-hearted guys in the NFL when the game isn’t being played though with his helmet on is known to be tenacious and never takes a play off. Was he attempting to hurt the Cleveland Browns punter? Of course not. He was simply attempting to block the kick and overshot himself both times.
But on the flip side there’s nothing wrong with the Browns fans laying it on J.J. Watt who seemingly enjoyed the verbal spat.
Watt, who has seemingly done it all on the day, also had yet another offensive touchdown.
