Watch this “soccer goalie” win the “game” because he keeps saving shots with his bloodied face.

Here we have a college soccer game between Yale and North Carolina in the 2014 Men’s College Cup.
Okay, we really don’t as the below video is actually a creation from BYUtv’s Studio C, yes, the same college which gave us Jimmer Fredette and Steve Young. Still, that shouldn’t stop you from watching the hilarity that is about to ensue in the video which features a faux soccer shootout between the two colleges.
Things start out with “Yale” scoring easily on a penalty kick which is when “North Carolina”s goalie come out. He in turns ends up blocking the next shot, not with his hands or even his legs but rather his face. The fake British announce team has some fun with the bruised goalie though that’s just the beginning of what’s to come next.
Seriously, just watch this – you’ll thank me in five minutes. And make sure you watch the entire feature as perhaps the biggest laugh out loud moment comes moments before the conclusion.
I’ve seen a significant amount of faux videos created over the past few years though this one is certainly in the top five if not at the top of the list. The idea and production are hilarious enough by themselves but to add the fake British announcers who go absolutely wild as the goalie keeps taking repeated shots to the face, leaving him looking as if he just left a war zone? Nothing short of a classic.
Hopefully the team behind this video will continue to make additional sports videos because this was wonderful.
