Free tickets to the NFL game between the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills being played in Detroit due to a snowstorm have all been claimed.

More from Buffalo Bills

Living in the Michigan area and hoping to attend the free, relocated New York Jets-Buffalo Bills game to be played at Ford Field?

You had your chance but the opportunity has now passed as the free tickets to the game have all be claimed.

Set for Monday night, the Detroit Lions who are oddly enough in charge of the box office for the game announced that all the free tickets available for the game have been claimed through an online process.

If you simply procrastinated and still want to attend the game you will have a chance though it will cost you as there are a “limited” amount of tickets still available for the tilt. Presumably those are likely better seats than those handed out for free which will fill out the nosebleeds of Ford Field.

Still getting tickets to an NFL game for free is pretty rare as it’s not often they come available. More than that, have you seen the recent ticket prices for an NFL game? Even buying the worst seat in the house will set you back between $40 to $120 bucks depending on the team and venue.

Given that hopefully many in the Detroit and surrounding areas were able to snag a few tickets to take their family to an NFL game which they may not be able to afford normally.

The Buffalo Bills will still remain the “home” team for the contest though it’s likely that most of the fans in attendance will just be looking to watch a good football game as opposed to rooting for a particular team.

It’s not known if Ralph Wilson Stadium, home to the Buffalo Bills will be ready for next weeks contest as crews still attempt to make the venue game ready.
