The Bengals will be missing some key pieces. They are also without receiver Greg Little. Running back Giovanni Bernard does return from a hip injury and will be active on Sunday.
The Texans are without Foster again though. He’s not played in three weeks against the Philadelphia Eagles. They will have defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and linebacker Brian Cushing though. That’s huge for the Texans defense.
Bengals inactives: LB Vontaze Burfict, RB Rex Burkhead, G Tanner Hawkinson, DE Margus Hunt, CB Chris Lewis-Harris, WR Greg Little, WR Dane Sanzenbacher
Texans inactives: RB Arian Foster, T Jeff Adams, DB Josh Aubrey, LB Max Bullough, CB Kareem Jackson, WR DeVier Posey, QB Tom Savage
The Bengals lead the tight NFC North at 6-3-1. The Texans are in second place in the NFC South at 5-5 and still in the hunt for both the NFC South title and a Wild Card playoff berth. A loss doesn’t kill either teams chances but clearly for the Texans not having Foster again could hurt facing a very good Bengals defense, even without Burfict.
