In addition to loud engines and paint scraping driving, NASCAR also comes with high tempers, something we’ve seen a lot of over the past few years.
The fights have become so frequent that even NFL broadcasters have taken notice like CBS’ Greg Gumbel who decided to take a shot at the racing league on Sunday.
As the Philadelphia Eagles were attempting to extend their lead to 21-points over the Tennessee Titans, there was a nasty hit across the middle which featured an Eagles wide receiver getting laid out. On the same play another Eagles player also went down which didn’t sit well with Philadelphia.

You may recall a few weeks ago there was a gnarly fight involving NASCAR superstars Jeff Gordon and Brad Keslowski which also somewhat involved eventual Sprint Cup champion Kevin Harvick.
Thankfully nobody was hurt too badly in that scrum (sans some egos) and the same can be said for the minor tiff between the Eagles and Titans which ended without any punches thrown. Well, except for the low blow delivered by Gumbel of course.
