Oklahoma City Thunder star and NBA MVP Kevin Durant says he’s pissed off after missing games due to his foot injury.

More from Kevin Durant

In case you didn’t see the news, Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant will make his season debut tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Durant has been out since the preseason after a stress fracture in his foot was discovered, but now apparently fully  healthy, Durant is back and ready to unleash his skills upon the rest of the NBA.

During the early portion of Durant’s career, the former Longhorn was relatively quiet and kept to himself. But now as a leader of the Oklahoma City Thunder, the reigning NBA MVP has become more vocal and demonstrative which he put on display Tuesday afternoon when he was asked about the games he missed.

Clearly unhappy having to sit on the bench, Durant had a word of warning for those around the league – they better watch out because he’s returning with an extra chip on his shoulder.

Kevin Durant when he’s playing without extra motivation is scary enough but Durant with something to prove sounds absolutely terrifying for opponents. Of course, like so many who’ve missed extended periods of time before, Kevin Durant is likely going to need some time to return to form.

Still, it appears as if the Thunder star is extremely eager to get back on the court and help Oklahoma City return to the top of the Western Conference.

He’ll have his work cut out for him though as OKC has stumbled into a hole at 5-12 after missing Durant and Russell Westbrook for much of the early portion of the year.
