Brazilian soccer prospect Adryan has quite possibly the most amazing flop in the history of sports.

As a fan of the Sacramento Kings and former NBA center Vlade Divac, I know a thing or two about professional flopping. I’m not going to go as far as to suggest that Divac began the tradition, though he certainly was one of the architects and seemingly perfected the art during his playing days.
Perhaps this soccer player has studied some of Divac’s tactics because what we have below might possibly be the best flop of all time, in any sport.
It all happened with Leeds United’s Brazilian prospect Adryan who continues to be one of the brightest young stars in soccer. Despite this, not even Adryan, who is on loan from Flamengo in the Brazil U20 could not take the opportunity for some epic floppage after he was tackled by a Derby County player.
Attempting to avoid the hit, Adryan ironically moved directly into the path of the sliding Derby County defender who tackled the young prospect. The two hardly made any contact, but that didn’t stop Adryan who began flipping around like a fish out of water.

Seriously, how is that not the greatest thing you’ve watched today? Hell, how is that not the greatest thing you’ve watched all week?
I’m not going to assume there wasn’t the possibility for injury there which could have caused such a reaction as a tear to a muscle or joint can be incredibly painful and create such a reaction, but this was an obvious (and extremely funny) flop.
Next time he might want to play with a defibrillator in his back pocket to really sell the death tackle.
