Johnny Manziel is looking like he’ll start next week for the Cleveland Browns, and Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis is ready to defend a midget.

The Cincinnati Bengals are trying to make a push for the postseason, but they’re on the outside looking in at the moment. That could change next week with a big win against the Cleveland Browns, as such a thing would all but bounce the Browns from the postseason and get the Bengals a much needed win.

More from Cincinnati Bengals

Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis isn’t sure who he’s going to be preparing for under center though, as the Browns have’t yet decided who they are going to start. Brian Hoyer has completely fallen out of favor in Cleveland with Johnny Manziel looking like he’s going to get his first career start in Week 15.

Lewis has no idea who he’s going to face, but he knows that Manziel might be hard to gameplay for. After all, it’s not every Sunday you face a midget.

Wait — what?

So now that this has happened, it’s going to be impossible for the Browns to not start Manziel this Sunday. Forget the struggles of Hoyer and all of that — Manziel has been called out and he needs to answer. Lewis is setting up the lore of Johnny Manziel, as we can now what him grow from a midget, into a munchkin representing the doggy pound guild and eventually — one day — into a full sized hobbit
