Looking for a special, yet cheap Christmas gift for your favorite Cleveland Browns fan this holiday season? Perhaps you may be interested in a Johnny Manziel shirt as not only are there plenty of them available, they’ve been placed on clearance.
Not even a day after Johnny Manziel’s woeful first NFL start, the signal caller’s merchandise can be found at bargain prices at local stores.
Of course, this likely has little to do with Manziel’s performance against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday but more likely stores in the area simply stocked up on too much gear and sales have dipped off. Still, a drop from $30 dollars to $15 bucks is a pretty hefty price slashing.
More amazing than that though is the fact that Nike and retailers can get away charging $30 dollars for a t-shirt that likely cost $3 dollars to make. Yes, there is merchandising, advertising and royalties to pay but still, that’s mildly absurd.
Looking at the photo it doesn’t appear as if there is any other Cleveland Browns merchandise on sale and it’s likely Johnny Manziel jerseys aren’t discounted considering their popularity, but if you’re in the market for a ‘Johnny Football’ shirt you can get a pretty solid deal.
