Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton Listed As Probable For Sunday
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton will be active for the teams week 16 match up with the Cleveland Browns.
Just 12 days after a car crash that by, his own admission could have killed someone,Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton will play in the team’s Week 16 match up against the Browns.

“We’ll have a good feel tomorrow,” Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said, via NFL.com. “We feel very confident.”
As long as there is no setback, all signs point to Cam Newton starting and he is officially listed as questionable.
Newton missed last weekend’s game due to two transverse process fractures that were suffered during his crash. Because of the pain, Newton was unable to go.
This week, however, Newton seems to be dealing with the pain better which is a positive sign for Carolina.
With just two weeks remaining in the regular season, the Panthers need to have their top signal-caller under center to make sure they have the best chance at reaching the NFL playoffs as the NFC South champion.
The Panthers are currently trailing the NFC South divisional leader New Orleans Saints by a half game thanks to a tie earlier on in the season with the Cincinnati Bengals.
