Dallas Cowboys Remains Optimistic DeMarco Murray Will Play
By Josh Sanchez
The Dallas Cowboys enter Week 16 with the status of star running back DeMarco Murray uncertain. However, there is growing optimism Murray will play against the Indianapolis Colts.
Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray had surgery to repair a broken bone in his hand earlier this week which put his status for this weekend’s game against the Indianapolis Colts in jeopardy.

Murray surprisingly took part in drills this week and took the first steps towards suiting up for the team in Week 16.
While there is still plenty of uncertainty about Murray’s status for the game, there seems to be a growing sense of optimism from the team about whether Murray will be able to play.
“He’s tough, he has a high pain threshold and he feels good,” a source told NFL.com. “(I) wouldn’t be surprised if he plays.”
With an injury that comes down to pain tolerance, you never know what exactly to expect.
Because of that, it seems like DeMarco Murray will be a true game-time decision on Sunday afternoon — and fantasy football owners will be anxiously waiting to see whether they need to scramble for their championship game.
If the worst case scenario proves to be true and Murray is unable to play on Sunday, backup running back Joseph Randle is ready to have his number called and get the job done for his team.
“Whatever happens I’ll be ready if they need me,” Randle said. “I’m 100 percent confident I can get the job done if the team needs me to step in.”
