The Cleveland Browns are frustrated with wide receiver Josh Gordon, to the point that some people within the organization believe that he has to go.
When the NFL‘s regular season concludes on Sunday, there will be a brief period of time when story-lines focus on the teams that did not make the playoffs. This year, there will be the usual head coaching drama on ‘Black Monday’, and there will be Cleveland Browns’ drama.

Oh, there will be Cleveland Browns’ drama.
There will be Johnny Manziel drama. There will be Josh Gordon drama. For a team that flew under the radar for the longest time, the Browns are finally garnering national attention, though probably not for the reasons they would have hoped for.
So while the team sends security to find Johnny Manziel and talks to the rookie quarterback about his inclination to throw parties, the Browns also have to decide what to do with the troubled Josh Gordon. According to Jason La Canfora, there are some within the organization who are ready to get rid of Gordon.
"Gordon “has to go,” according to several members of the organization, with his drug suspensions and lax behavior a growing problem and something they are concerned could rub off on young players on the roster. Of course, it remains to be seen if Browns owner Jimmy Haslam will be willing to take reduced compensation for the diminishing asset, after being enthralled by Gordon’s breakthrough 2012 campaign."
Josh Gordon will continue to be one of the great risk-reward players we have seen in recent memory. When he’s right, he is among the best, something he showed when he logged 1,646 yards receiving in 2013. But he cannot do that if he’s not on the field, which has been the obvious problem this season with him missing 11 games due to suspensions.
Some team might be intrigued enough by Gordon’s upside to take a chance on him, but it sounds increasingly like the Browns are done gambling on the talented receiver.
