Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver A.J. Green is questionable against the Indianapolis Colts due to a concussion.
The Cincinnati Bengals fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers last night, and ended up with the fifth seed in the AFC playoffs. That means that they will be facing the Indianapolis Colts on the road in the wildcard round of the playoffs, and it only gives star wide receiver A.J. Green a week to try and pass the concussion protocol.

At this point in time, the Bengals aren’t sure whether or not they will have their top offensive playmaker. Not having to gameplan against him would be huge for the Colts, as it would give them extra freedom to throw everything they have at slowing down rookie running back Jeremy Hill and putting pressure on Andy Dalton. The Colts defeated the Bengals earlier this season at Lucas Oil Stadium by a final score of 27-0.
Since that loss, the Bengals have begun playing better football. They embarrassed the Denver Broncos a couple weeks ago, but losing to the Steelers showed some holes. If they’re going to get past the Colts, Green needs to be on the field making a difference.
A.J. Green is under concussion protocol. As is Cedric Peerman. #Bengals

Green has dealt with injury issues already this season, but carved out a respectable stat line. He caught 69 passes for 1,041 yards to go along with six touchdowns. Those numbers show how important he has been for Dalton and the aerial attack, and they’ll have issues on Sunday if he can’t go.
Dalton is the weakest link on the Bengals’ offense, and he hasn’t shown the ability to play consistent football to this point in his career. This season, the Bengals have put a very talented team around him but are still depending on him to come through with quality games. Without Green, Dalton’s chances of putting together that quality game become a lot slimmer.
