AFC Wild Card: Colts’ Daniel Herron fumbles late in first half (Video)

Indianapolis Colts running back Daniel Herron fumbled with his team driving late in the first half against the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Wild Card round.
The Indianapolis Colts were driving with two minutes left in the second half, hoping to extend its lead over the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Wild Card round.

Instead, disaster struck for Indy, as the Bengals cornerback Darqueze Dennard stripped Colts running back Daniel Herron, allowing Cincy to take over with solid field position and a chance themselves to put some points on the boards before intermission.

Thanks an incredible kick from Mike Nugent with 15 seconds left in the half, the Bengals, in fact, were able to cut the Colts’ lead to 13-10 before the half.
Herron was having a solid game before the fumble — he posted 34 rushing yards and a touchdown with 61 receiving yards in the first half — but there’s no doubt his blunder could come back to haunt the Colts down the stretch.
