Tottenham are currently 6th in the English Premier League while Fiorentina are 4th in the Italian Serie A. Fiorentina have just sold star man Cuardado to Chelsea but they are still a formidable side that can cause the English club a lot of trouble.

The Europa League is the second tier of European football, it’s not as prestigious as the Champions League but would still be financially beneficial and more than that; the winner gains automatic qualification in to next year’s Champions League. That’s right, if you finish bottom of your domestic league and win this competition, you still get in to the biggest competition in the soccer world next season. That’s the reason teams are tempted to field their best players, even in the early stages of these knockout rounds.

Tottenham are expected to have enough to get a positive result at home, especially when you consider the form front man Harry Kane has been in of late. Though you can never count out the Italians when it comes to big games. It should be an exciting affair.
