Ohio State recruit Justin Hilliard took a shot at Michigan, and head coach Jim Harbaugh, by implying Jameis Winston’s training at the university contributed to his slow 40 yard dash time.
The 2015 NCAA football season is still a few months away. That will not stop one of college sports’ best rivalries from continuing, however.
Ohio State five-star recruit Justin Hilliard is getting things started by taking a shot at his new rival school.

The highly touted outside linebacker insinuated that training at Michigan with new head coach Jim Harbaugh help contribute to the poor showing Jameis Winston had in the 40 yard dash at the annual NFL scouting combine.
Training at Michigan can be hazardous for your midsection. That would be the message conveyed by Hilliard in a recent tweet sent out from his official account. The post contained a photo of a visibly heavier Winston after the quarterback allegedly put on some weight following the conclusion of the 2014 college football season (it was really just a belt around his waist, according to his coach).
The picture has since been taken down by the recruit, however, but through the preservation from the folks over at College Spun, it is available for viewing below.

Winston, of course, is still projected to go number one overall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His resume at Florida State, one that includes the 2013 Heisman Trophy award and the final BCS Championship, is formidable enough. His recent interviews and performance (outside of the 40 yard dash) at the combine have all but sealed his projection.
However, that does not mean anything for Hilliard. He is just a kid who wants to find a way to troll that school up north from him. He himself is headed to the defending national championship winning program in major college football, and engaging in the sport’s most historic rivalry.
Thus, any chance to get a shot in on Harbaugh and company is one he will understandably take.
Who are we to stop him? If anything, it gets us, the public, more excited about the upcoming season, specifically for the Big Ten conference.
The one thing that seems to be missing is a proper Michigan retort. With the exception of a rather passive aggressive tweet from Harbaugh himself regarding the recruitment of running back Mike Weber, the off-season jabs have mostly been landed by the Buckeyes.
