Adrian Peterson releases statement on Judge Doty’s ruling
Adrian Peterson released a statement one day after a Judge overturned his suspension, but doesn’t say whether he will return to the Minnesota Vikings or if he wants to play elsewhere.
Where he will be playing in 2015 remains to be seen, but Minnesota Vikings running back, Adrian Peterson will play in the NFL in 2015 after Judge Doty’s decision to vacate the ruling from arbitrator Harold Henderson that upheld the perennial Pro Bowl back’s suspension.

The NFL announced Peterson will return to the commissioner’s exempt list he was placed on last September after he was indicted on a felony count of reckless or negligent injury to a child. The league is appealing the decision.
“I was pleased to learn about Judge Doty’s decision,” Peterson wrote in a press release, via NFL.com after Doty ruled in his favor, granting an NFLPA motion to vacate a Harold Henderson’s previous ruling.
“It is a positive step in protecting players’ rights and preserving due process for all players,” Peterson wrote. “It also brings me one step closer to getting back on the football field and playing the sport I love. As I prepare for my return to football, I am still focused on my family and continue to work to become a better father every day. I want to express my gratitude for all of the support I have received from the fans, NFLPA, Jeffrey Kessler, and my agents Ben Dogra, Tracy Lartigue, and Mark Heligman from Relativity Sports.”
The Vikings have been adamant throughout the process that they want Peterson back in 2015, but reportedly requested a trade to the Dallas Cowboys and Peterson’s father isn’t shy about spreading rumors about teams who are interested in acquiring the best back the NFL has seen in the last decade.
Peterson hasn’t publicly said anything about where he wants to continue his playing career and is one of, if not the top storyline as the NFL offseason begins to heat up with free agency starting in March and the NFL draft later this spring.
