There are ten NBA games tonight, so we have plenty of choices to build a winning lineup. Is it worth paying the highest price of the season for Russell Westbrook? We will examine this and other burning questions as we try to make some more money tonight!

Here are my FanDuel lineups for March 11:
Point Guards:
Bargains:
Aaron Brooks, Bulls ($4,800): Brooks held his own against the Grizzlies on Monday, which makes me optimistic that he can do the same against the 76ers tonight. He only needs 21.6 fantasy points for 4.5x value, a mark that he has surpassed in three of his last five games. He is a solid bargain play tonight.
Elfrid Payton, Magic ($6,200): Payton has put up more than 28 fantasy points in four straight games. It’s not like he played scrubs in that stretch either. He did that against the Pacers, Celtics, and Kings, all of whom are in the top half of the league in perimeter defense. The Bucks are up there too, but Payton still seems like a pretty reliable play. He may not reach 28 again, but 4x value is within reach.
Jeff Teague, Hawks ($7,100): Teague has scored more than 20 fantasy points in every game since the beginning of February, but he has done even better since he was given a day off on February 28th. He has averaged 32 fantasy points per game in March, which puts him slightly above the elusive 4.5x value. He has a nice matchup against the Nuggets tonight, and should have no trouble getting to 32 again.
Worth The Cost:
Damian Lillard, Trailblazers ($8,700): Lillard broke out of his slump in a big way, putting up 52.4 fantasy points on the Timberwolves on Saturday. A well-rested Lillard will get to take on one of the weaker perimeter teams in the Rockets tonight. I wouldn’t be surprised if he broke 50 again.
Ricky Rubio, Timberwolves ($8,200): Rubio had his worst game since his first game back on Monday against the Clippers because he was ice cold from the field. He still managed 25.4 fantasy points, which is lower than what you need from him, but he also played his lowest minutes since February 25th as the Timberwolves fell back late in the game. With a matchup against the fast-paced Suns tonight, Rubio looks like a really good play.
Russell Westbrook, Thunder ($13,300): Westbrook has made himself the highest priced player of the season at $13,300. While that seems ridiculous, he has been even more so. Westbrook has had five triple-doubles in his last six games. His average score over his last ten games is an incredible 62.8 fantasy points. Over his last six, it balloons to 67.6. Do you dare bet against him? His average output is more than 5x value, even at this astronomical price.
Risky Plays:
Chris Paul, Clippers ($10,500): Paul was noticeably limping at the end of Monday’s game, yet he insists that he will be ready for tonight’s game against the Thunder. Even if he does play, it is very likely that he won’t be anywhere near 100%. I wouldn’t trust him even against a bad opposing defense, let alone the Thunder. Stay away from this one.
Mo Williams, Hornets ($7,400): Williams had a very nice run as the starter for Charlotte, but that is going to come to an end, possibly as soon as tonight. Kemba Walker insists that he will play, though how much and in what capacity is up for debate. Just the fact that Walker is returning does not bode well for Williams’ fantasy value. I wouldn’t play either Charlotte PG tonight.
Reggie Jackson, Pistons ($6,900): Jackson was a disaster last night against the Lakers, scoring just 3.9 fantasy points in only 22 minutes. He was in foul trouble for the entire game, and his shot wasn’t falling at all. He has a tough matchup against the Warriors tonight. While he should net more than 3.9 points, I doubt that he gets the 31.1 needed for 4.5x value.
My Lineups:
A: Rubio and Teague ($15,300)
B: Westbrook and McCallum ($17,800)
Next: Many Good SG Options Tonight

Shooting Guards:
Bargains:
J.J. Redick, Clippers ($5,600): Jamal Crawford is still without a timetable for a return, which means Redick is still going to see plenty of minutes. He has averaged 26.4 fantasy points per game with Crawford out, which is good for an average of 4.8x value. He is a solid cheap option against the Thunder tonight.
Gary Neal, Timberwolves ($4,300): Neal has emerged as the go-to scorer off of the Timberwolves bench. He has scored more than 20 fantasy points in five straight games, and is averaging 26.2 fantasy points per game over that time. That makes him a really good value as long as he keeps scoring, and you know the shots will be plentiful tonight against the Suns.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks ($7,000): Giannis had a career high 29 points against the Pelicans on Monday en route to a monster 51 point fantasy night. Consistency is still a bit of an issue considering that he has been below 20 fantasy points in two of his last eight games, but he showed what he is capable of. He has a nice matchup against the Magic tonight, and should get you near 5x value.
Worth The Cost:
James Harden, Rockets ($11,300): The injury to Wesley Matthews actually helps out Portland’s perimeter defense some since Arron Afflalo is now starting, but I have a hard time going against Harden. He has not been below 35 fantasy points in over a month, and has averaged 47.3 fantasy points per game since the All Star break. He should be close to that mark tonight, which makes him a solid option.
Victor Oladipo, Magic ($8,000): Oladipo has been carrying the team lately. He has only been under 25 fantasy points once in his last 12 games, and that was a 24.5 point effort. His consistency is desired in daily leagues, and his upside is enticing. The return of Nikola Vucevic thrwarted his scoring a little bit, but he does enough other things to make him a good play in daily leagues. If he can still score 30 fantasy points against the Pacers, he is a solid be for 4x value against Milwaukee.
Dwyane Wade, Heat ($7,800): Say what you want about Wade, but he is rolling lately. He has not been below 35 fantasy points since February 27th, and is averaging 38 fantasy points per game during that stretch. That is 4.4x value. He is a solid play against the Nets tonight.
Kevin Martin, Timberwolves ($6,400): Martin put up 39.2 fantasy points on the Suns back on February 20th, and the only thing that has changed since then is the addition of Marcus Thornton and Danny Granger since Brandon Knight will miss the game. There is a great chance of a repeat performance tonight.
Risky Plays:
Eric Bledsoe, Suns ($8,300): Bledsoe was held under 25 fantasy points by Cleveland and Golden State in the last two games, and likely will be again tonight against Minnesota. Rubio hounds opposing PG’s, and has held some good ones to lackluster fantasy nights. I think the same fate is in store for Bledsoe. There are better options available.
Klay Thompson, Warriors ($7,100): The Pistons are notorious for holding down opposing SG’s, and Thompson doesn’t do much other than score. He has been held under 32 fantasy points (4.5x value) in each of his last five games, and in seven of the last ten. I’m thinking it will be eight of 11 after Detroit gets a hold of him.
Arron Afflalo, Trailblazers ($4,400): His price makes him enticing, but he is not the fantasy option that he was in Denver. He is behind LaMarcus Aldridge, Damian Lillard, and Nicolas Batum in the pecking order, and sometimes he even finds himself behind Robin Lopez. He has played more than 25 minutes in every game since his arrival in Portland, but is still only averaging 13.5 fantasy points per game. That is barely 3x value.
My Lineups:
A: Martin and Redick ($12,000)
B: Harden and Redick ($16,900)
Next: Quite A Bit Of Risk Involved At SF

Small Forwards:
Bargains:
Jeff Green, Grizzlies ($5,100): Green has topped 20 fantasy points in six straight games, and has averaged 25.1 fantasy points per game in that span. That makes him close to a 5x value. If you need any more incentive, he gets to play his former teammates in Boston tonight. Green could be in line for his second straight 30 point fantasy game.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Hornets ($5,600): MKG had his worst fantasy output since the break on Monday, but we can give him a pass since it was against a stout defense in Washington, Tonight he faces the Kings, who are also a tough defense. I think we will see him around 4x value, but don’t expect much more.
Nicolas Batum, Trailblazers ($6,200): Batum is playing his best basketball of the season right now. He has topped 35 fantasy points four times in his last seven games, and is averaging 31.3 fantasy points per game in that span. Look for somewhere near that mark tonight against Houston.
Worth The Cost:
Rudy Gay, Kings ($8,300): Gay still managed to get 27.3 fantasy points against the Hawks on Monday. That is below where you need him, and the sledding could be tough against Charlotte tonight as well. That said, he has scored more than 22 points in five of his last six games, and is averaging 38.4 fantasy points per game in that span. He struggled rebounding against a bigger Atlanta team. He will likely do fine with his rebounding against Charlotte, which should get him back to around 4x value.
Draymond Green, Warriors ($8,200): It says something when Green struggles from the field and still gets 28 fantasy points. He is averaging 37.6 fantasy points per game over his last ten games, and remains a consistent force in daily leagues because of his rebounding and passing skills. His rebounds could take a dip tonight against a huge Detroit team, but he should do enough to get close to 4x value.
Andrew Wiggins, Timberwolves ($6,500): Wiggins was held in check by the Clippers on Monday, lending more credence to his inconsistency. The fact is, it was his first game under 20 fantasy points since the first week in February. Tonight he gets a Suns team that he put up 27.4 fantasy points against in the first game after the break. That would put him right at 4x. value.
Khris Middleton, Bucks ($6,500): Even when Middleton has a below average game, he still gets above 20 fantasy points. He has averaged 29.7 fantasy points per game over his last ten, and remains one of the most consistent threats around. He has a solid matchup against Orlando tonight that should see him right around 30 once again.
Risky Plays:
Robert Covington, 76ers ($5,600): Covington has not been over 22 fantasy points since February 23rd, and is averaging just 16.2 fantasy points per game over that span. Part of it may have had to do with injury issues, but I think most of it is the fact that the 76ers are an open audition every night. They often run ten deep, which makes it hard for anyone not named Nerlens Noel to get consistent fantasy value. Watch this situation to see if Covington gets his minutes back before trusting him again in daily leagues.
Gerald Henderson, Hornets ($5,300): Henderson had his worst game of the year (5.6 fantasy points against Washington on Monday) at the absolute worst time for him. With Kemba Walker returning, Henderson is likely to see at least a dip in minutes. It remains to be seen just how and if Charlotte will use Mo Williams and Kemba Walker together, but it will likely come at a cost to Henderson.
Danilo Gallinari, Nuggets ($5,200): Gallinari has been one of the best value options in FanDuel for a couple of weeks now, but I don’t trust him against the Hawks. He had his first game in single digit points since cracking the rotation against the Knicks on Monday. The Hawks are a very good defensive team, so I am leaving Gallinari alone tonight.
My Lineups:
A: Wiggins and Jeff Green ($11,600)
B: Kidd-Gilchrist and Jeff Green ($10,700)
Next: Plenty Of Options At PF

Power Forwards:
Bargains:
Kenneth Faried, Nuggets ($6,400): Faried has averaged 33 fantasy points per game since the coaching change. He is getting plenty of minutes with Jusuf Nurkic out. I don’t like his matchup with Atlanta, but when Faried is getting minutes, it’s hard to argue with his production. Don’t expect him in the 30’s tonight, but he should be able to provide you with solid 4x value.
Nikola Mirotic, Bulls ($5,700): Taj who? Mirotic has excelled with Taj Gibson out, and has played a lot at SF alongside Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah. If the Bulls want to keep from falling off while Jimmy Butler is out, they need Mirotic on the court scoring points, which is exactly what he has done. He has played 28 or more minutes in each of the last six games, and is averaging 32.4 fantasy points per game in that stretch. You don’t need me to tell you that he is an excellent value.
Thomas Robinson, 76ers ($3,900): Robinson has averaged 20 fantasy points per game since joining the 76ers rotation. He does not see a lot of minutes, but he sees enough to be a factor. Of course, If Nerlens Noel’s shin problems flare up, Robinson will take over a lot of those minutes. That could make him a sneaky play tonight.
Worth The Cost:
LaMarcus Aldridge, Trailblazers ($9,400): Aldridge is not quite the force he was before the thumb injury, but he has still put up 39 fantasy points per game over his last six games. He has a nice matchup against Houston tonight, and should be able to remain around 4x value.
Serge Ibaka, Thunder ($8,200): Aside from a horrid outing against Philadelphia a week ago, Ibaka has averaged 40 fantasy points per game in his last ten games. He has a solid matchup against the Clippers, who are still without Blake Griffin. They may give him some issues on the interior, but I would be willing to bet that he gets close to 4.5x value.
Paul Millsap, Hawks ($7,400): Millsap struggled some against the Warriors, but they honestly didn’t need much from him. The offense was firing on all cylinders, and he got some more rest during the game. Millsap has an excellent matchup against Denver tonight, who is still a little thin in the frontcourt. He needs 33.3 fantasy points for 4.5x value, and should have no problems reaching that mark.
Greg Monroe, Pistons ($8,100): Monroe has been tearing apart opponents since the release of Josh Smith. He has also seemed to benefit from the addition of Reggie Jackson, Monroe has averaged 38.4 fantasy points per game in the nine games since the trade deadline. His matchup against Golden State isn’t one of his better ones, but he has faced some good teams in that stretch including Washington (twice), Charlotte, and New Orleans. None of them were able to keep him under 30. That makes him a pretty low-risk option.
Risky Plays:
Pau Gasol, Bulls ($9,100): You have all heard me mention the Gasol trend with Noah playing well. That has not changed, and really, his price hasn’t either. If you need another reason not to play him, the 76ers have actually defended the interior well lately. You can go better tonight.
Nerlens Noel, 76ers ($7,300): Noel has been a beast over his last six games. He has averaged 37 fantasy points per game over that span. So why the risk? He was held out of practice with sore shins yesterday, and he has to face one of the better frontcourts in the Eastern Conference tonight in the Bulls. It’s hard to argue the numbers, but I am going to take a safer approach tonight.
Brandon Bass, Celtics ($5,900): Bass has put together two really good games in a row, and is firmly back in the Boston rotation, even with Kelly Olynyk back. That said, I won’t touch him against Memphis. They have made All-Stars routinely look bad against Randolph and Marc Gasol. As good as Bass can be, he is no All-Star.
My Lineups:
A: Ibaka and Mirotic ($12,200)
B: Mirotic and Robinson ($9,600)
Next: Can You Trust Cousins Against Charlotte?

Center:
Bargains:
Gorgui Dieng, Timberwolves ($5,800): Dieng seems to be the safest option in the rotation of Nikola Pekovic, Dieng and Adriean Payne. Dieng has seen 27 minutes or more in each of the last five games, and is averaging 24 fantasy points per game in that time. Those are not great numbers, but the matchup against the Suns is. Dieng put up 32.9 fantasy points in 38 minutes against Phoenix on February 20th. He should be somewhere near 30 tonight, which makes him a 5x value.
Brook Lopez, Nets ($6,900): Lopez has averaged 36 fantasy points per game over his last three games, and gets to face a Heat team with a suspended Hassan Whiteside. Lopez looks like a great play tonight.
Worth The Cost:
Al Horford, Hawks ($8,100): Horford has put up an average of 34 fantasy points per game since getting a day off at the end of February. That makes him consistently over 4x value, and he should have no problems reaching that tonight against Denver. The only thing that might work against him is if this turns into a blowout.
DeAndre Jordan, Clippers ($9,600): Jordan has averaged 41.3 fantasy points per game over his last ten games, making him a consistent 4.5x value. He has a solid matchup against the Thunder tonight, who are improved at center, but still not what I would call strong. His great rebounding makes him a low risk play, even at this high of a price.
Andre Drummond, Pistons ($8,400): Drummond has struggled at times with bigger teams on the interior. Fortunately for him, the Warriors are not one of those. He may not see huge minutes tonight since the Warriors will try and wear him out by running him around, but he should still have success on the defensive end of the court. That should translate well into FanDuel success.
Risky Plays:
Joakim Noah, Bulls ($7,000): Noah struggled against Memphis on Monday. He only reached just under 3x value. There is a good chance that the same thing happens tonight against Philadelphia. He won’t be held to 20, but I doubt he gets over 30.
DeMarcus Cousins, Kings ($10,600): Apparently his ankle is still bothering him a little, but not nearly as much as Charlotte will. The Hornets have done very well against opposing big men. Cousins is such a great talent that he may come close to 40 fantasy points, but at his price, you need more.
Al Jefferson, Hornets ($8,500): What’s bad for the goose (Cousins), is also bad for the gander (Jefferson). These two are going to beat each other up tonight. I don’t see fantasy success for either of them tonight. It is best to avoid this situation entirely.
My Lineups:
A: Lopez ($6,900)
B: Alex Len ($4,800): Simply put: I ran out of money
