Jeff Fisher – St. Louis Rams

Jeff Fisher had an up and down career as the coach of the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans from 1994 through 2010, but it was apparent at the end of his play-calling days in Nashville that it was time for a change. Now, he may be seeing a similar end after just three seasons with the Rams.

It would be hard to fault Fisher completely for the struggles of the Rams since he took over the team in 2012. His franchise quarterback, Sam Bradford, has managed to start just 23 games in the last three seasons, leaving the team at the hands of Kellen Clemens, Tavon Austin, Shaun Hill, and Austin Davis when he couldn’t get on the field. Add in the revolving doors at running back and it is easy to see why the offense has continued to struggle to produce.

St. Louis having missed the postseason in every year since 2004 and with the team being actively courted by Los Angeles to bring the franchise back, the pressure is one to get over that hurdle. Fisher has survived on franchise move in the past, but unless the Rams show some drastic improvements in 2015, he may not be around to see the next relocation.
