The Cincinnati Bengals decided to cut defensive lineman Devon Still to get the roster down to 53-men.

The roster cut deadline is Saturday afternoon and the teams around the NFL are trimming their rosters down to 53 players. The Cincinnati Bengals released defensive lineman Devon Still.

Still became a household name for his moving story and his desire to remain on the Bengals’ roster to get health insurance to help his daughter Leah treat cancer. The nation fell in love with his daughter and her incredible strength and positive outlook on life.

Fans were understandably concerned about his daughter and how she would continue to receive treatment.

Fortunately, there is some safety nets in place for Still and Leah.
