The Houston Texans are not a very good football team. This can be seen by the way they are playing against the Atlanta Falcons, already down 21-0 in the first half. The Falcons added some insult on the third touchdown, when Arian Foster fumbled and cornerback Desmond Trufant scooped up the gift and ran into the end zone.

There has been plenty of talk around Houston that when Foster returned, the offense would start to play much better. Foster had missed the first three games of the year following groin surgery, but is back in action. However, he might want to just take a seat again.

Meanwhile, the Falcons are rolling. After going 6-10 last year and firing their head coach, the Falcons hired former Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. Quinn has turned the defense into a ball-hawking unit, as evidenced by Trufant’s play. In the NFC South, it appears Atlanta is going to be in a race with the Carolina Panthers, who both are sitting at 3-0.

Houston will be in no such competition in the AFC South, despite that being the worst division in the NFL. The Texans are without a decent quarterback, stuck wither starting Brian Hoyer or Ryan Mallett.
