Next: Can Austin Rivers Produce With Paul Out?

Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Russell Westbrook, Thunder ($10,800): If you go on FanDuel points alone, Westbrook has actually outdone Stephen Curry so far this year. That said, Westbrook has had just 108 fantasy points over his last three games. That is not nearly what you need from someone at this price. That makes Westbrook a little bit of a risk heading into tonight’s game against the Kings.

Stephen Curry, Warriors ($11,100): Curry’s “bad” game was 37.8 FanDuel  points against the Kings on November 28th. That is a very high floor. He is significantly less of a risk than Westbrook, but Westbrook has the potential to put up 60 points on any given night. Curry’s ceiling has been slightly below that.

Honorable Mention:

John Wall, Wizards ($8,900): You can chalk up Wall’s somewhat lackluster game on Friday to the Wizards being very thin in the frontcourt. It might not be much better tonight, but Dallas is a better matchup for Wall than Phoenix was. He torched the Lakers and Cavs for 58 FanDuel points each earlier in the week. While he may not get to that tonight, 40’s is a real possibility.

Rajon Rondo, Kings ($8,000): Rondo has slowed some since his scorching start, but he is still producing at a high level for his price. Aside from getting tossed on Wednesday, Rondo has scored 30 or more FanDuel points in all but one game this year. That was against Golden State, who can do no wrong. Rondo is a solid play against Oklahoma City tonight.

If You’re Cheap:

Deron Williams, Mavericks ($6,900): Williams doesn’t do a whole lot, but he has been a solid play for Dallas this year against everyone but Memphis. Aside from that game, Williams has averaged 31.2 FanDuel points per game. That makes Williams a 4.5x value, which is what you target.

D’Angelo Russell, Lakers ($5,300): The rookie is starting to pick it up lately for the Lakers. Russell has averaged 24 FanDuel points per game over the last ten games, and with Jordan Clarkson struggling some lately, the Lakers will give Russell all the minutes he can handle. He is a candidate to go off at any minute, though he hasn’t topped 30 FanDuel points in a game yet. His first is likely coming soon. Will it be in your lineup?

My picks: Wall and Russell

Next: Is There A Cheap Option At SG?

Nov 27, 2015; Phoenix, AZ, USA; Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson against the Phoenix Suns at Talking Stick Resort Arena. The Warriors defeated the Suns 135-116. Mandatory Credit: Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Brad Beal, Wizards ($7,500): Beal has started to heat up lately, putting up 154.7 FanDuel points over his last four games. That is roughly 5x value. With all of the injuries in the Wizards’ frontcourt, the guards will have to keep the team afloat. Both Wall and Beal could be in for big games until the teams gets healthy again.

Kobe Bryant, Lakers ($6,900): Bryant is nowhere near the superstar that he was before. That is not to say that Bryant is no longer productive. It just says don’t expect games or more than 40 FanDuel points anymore. The frequency of those games is going to be very few and far between, if at all. That said, Bryant is averaging just below 30 FanDuel points over his last five games. That is decent value on a light night at SG.

Honorable Mention:

Klay Thompson, Warriors ($5,900): Anyone who relies mostly on scoring for fantasy production is going to have down nights. That has happened to Thompson this year, and that has kept his price down. That said, Thompson is also streaky, and he is on one of his upswings right now. Thompson has averaged 31 FanDuel points over his last three games. If he can do that again, you are getting great value from him.

If You’re Cheap:

Lou Williams, Lakers ($4,700): With so many mouths to feed in the Laker backcourt, Williams is always a risk. That said, Nick Young seems to have fallen out of the  rotation, and the extra minutes have gone to Williams so far. He has played 64 minutes over his last two games, amassing 57.6 FanDuel points in that time. He is producing well above his price right now

My picks: Thompson and Williams

Next: Should You Spend On Durant?

Dec 3, 2015; Miami, FL, USA; Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant (35) reacts after being called for a foul against the Miami Heat during the first half at American Airlines Arena. Mandatory Credit: Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Small Forwards:

Best Bets:

Kevin Durant, Thunder ($10,400): In five games since returning from injury, Durant has averaged 48.1 FanDuel points per game. He is coming near the production that made him an MVP. At any rate, it is  still worth the money you pay for him. If you can get 4x value from this price tag, you have a good start for your team.

Marcus Morris, Pistons ($6,300): Morris went through a cold streak over the last two weeks of November, but he has put up 79.6 FanDuel points over his last two games. Expect that production to continue against the Lakers tonight.

Honorable Mention:

Rudy Gay, Kings ($7,000): Gay is nothing if not consistent. He has averaged right around 28 FanDuel points per game over his last four, which is the time that DeMarcus Cousins has been back. With Cousins around, Gay is consistently average, but there are worse things. He has a limited ceiling, but he is a solid 4x value.

If You’re Cheap:

Omri Casspi, Kings ($4,200): There are minutes open in the Kings front court with Willie Cauley-Stein out of the picture for the next month or so. Casspi has been logging the starts in the meantime, which makes him a great bargain at his price. He has limited upside, but nearly every game he plays is in the 20’s for FanDuel points. That brings him close to 5x value.

My Picks: Morris and Casspi

Next: Is Green The Best PF Option?

November 24, 2015; Oakland, CA, USA; Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (23) celebrates during the first quarter against the Los Angeles Lakers at Oracle Arena. Mandatory Credit: Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Power Forward:

Best Bets:

Draymond Green, Warriors ($8,100): Green won’t score a lot of points, but he is a huge asset in FanDuel. He is a triple-double threat every time he takes the court because he does so many things well. Green is averaging right at 40 FanDuel points per game over his last six games, which makes him right at 5x value. Use him until you have a reason not to!

Dirk Nowitzki, Mavericks ($7,000): Nowitzki almost always has 30 FanDuel points. He is a very consistent performer, which makes him desirable. He is also playing a beat up Washington front court, which gives him more upside than usual. He is a very good play tonight.

Honorable Mention:

Julius Randle, Lakers ($6,200): Randle’s rookie season was a lost cause because of injury, but he is growing into his own now. He has averaged 30 FanDuel points per game over his last eight. He is coming close to 5x value on a regular basis. I would temper expectations against Detroit, but he should still be around 4x value.

If You’re Cheap:

Ersan Ilyasova, Pistons ($4,400): Consistency has always been an issue with Ilyasova, but when he is on, he is on. He has 49.9 FanDuel points over his last two games, and should be able to feast on a talented but young Lakers frontcourt.

My picks: Green and Nowitzki

Next: Who Is The Best At C?

Nov 15, 2015; Sacramento, CA, USA; Sacramento Kings forward DeMarcus Cousins (15) reacts against the Toronto Raptors during the second quarter at Sleep Train Arena. Mandatory Credit: Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

Center:

Best Bet:

Andre Drummond, Pistons ($9,600): Cousins has a higher ceiling, but Drummond is consistently dominant. Drummond has had 194.7 FanDuel points in just his last four games. He is a very strong play against the Lakers tonight.

Honorable Mention:

DeMarcus Cousins, Kings ($10,300): When Cousins is on the court, he has been a force. Even when he had a rough shooting night against Boston on Thursday, he still got 28.4 FanDuel points. Don’t expect that low output to be the norm. Cousins has topped 50 fantasy points in four of his last seven games.

If You’re Cheap:

Festus Ezeli, Warriors ($4,400): Ezeli is getting a nice run lately with Andrew Bogut limited or out. Bogut doesn’t seem to be returning to full health anytime soon, so Ezeli is a strong bet to keep up his current 20 FanDuel points per game pace.

My Pick: Mahinmi
