Here are my early Ā FanDuel NBA Picks for February 6th:
Next: There Are Bargains At PG

Point Guards:
Best Bets:
John Wall, Wizards ($9,900): Wall had a few substandard games (for him), falling under 40 FanDuel points five times in his last nine games. He lit up the Warriors for 60.6 FanDuel points on Wedenesday, so there is every reason to think that he is back on track. Donāt expect gaudy numbers like that against Charlotte, but he should provide solid 4x value with the potential for more.
Damian Lillard, Trailblazers ($8,700): Lillard has been about as consistent as they come lately. He has had 33 or more FanDuel points in every game since January 20th. That kind of consistency is hard to find for under $10,000. Take it while you can! He has the potential to outscore Wall against Houston today.
Honorable Mention:
Reggie Jackson, Pistons ($6,900): His inconsistency since the return of Brandon Jennings is a little bit of a concern. Still, Jackson is playing at least 28 minutes per game, and has been over 30 FanDuel points inĀ five of his last ten games. Indiana is not a good matchup for Jackson, but he should still be right around 4x value.
George Hill, Pacers ($5,900): Stop me if youāve heard this before: Hill finally seems to be getting healthy. He has been over 20 FanDuel points in each of the seven games since missing three games for personal reasons. Moreover, he has been over 25 FanDuel points in four of his last five games. He is a low risk 4x value with the potential for more right now.
If Youāre Cheap:
Patrick Beverley, Rockets ($4,900): Beverleyās low price makes him a low risk. He isnāt much of a threat to hit 30 FanDuel points, but he is consistently in the 24-28 range, which makes him right around 6x value. The matchup against Portland could be a little more difficult, but 25.3 FanDuel point average over his last seven games speaks for itself.
My picks: Lillard and Beverley
Next: Is There A Cheap Option At SG?

Shooting Guards:
Best Bet:
James Harden, Rockets ($10,800): I was high on Harden and his matchup against the Suns on Thursday, and he failed us with a poor shooting day. Harden does enough to always get you something ā 36.8 FanDuel points wonāt kill you ā but it certainly wonāt help you place either. When it comes down to it, everyone at this price is a risk, but Harden, even on off nights, is close enough to 4x value to not hurt you too badly. You can still place if Harden is a bit of a whiff in large tournaments.
C.J. McCollum, Trailblazers ($7,500): McCollum lacks the consistency to top 4x value that you want in someone with this cost. After all, he has only been over 4x value once in the last five games, but it was a 47.8 FanDuel point outburst against the Bucks. That could happen against against the Rockets.
Honorable Mention:
Monta Ellis, Pacers ($6,800): Ellisās back toĀ back 50 FanDuel points feel like a distant memory even though it happened last weekend. He doesnāt have over 23 in any of the three games since. The Pistons could be a good matchup with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope out, but then again, maybe not. Stanley Johnson is a solid defender as well. Use Ells with caution, but he has the upside to be mentioned here.
Brad Beal, Wizards ($5,900): Beal is back in the starting lineup, and should start consistently seeing 30+ minutes per game. They didnāt overuse him against Philadelphia last night because they didnāt have to. He should be back in full force against Charlotte, and is a strong bet for at least 4.5x value.
If Youāre Cheap:
Gerald Henderson, Trailblazers ($4,000): Henderson only sees around 20-25 minutes per game, but he has had over 24 FanDuel points in three of his last five games. He is one of the best players on Portlandās second unit, and is easily at 5x value in most games.
My picks: Harden and Beal
Next: Should You Pay For LeBron James?

Small Forwards:
Best Bet:
Paul George, Pacers ($8,300): George is really the only consistent threat to hit 40 today. SF is thin at the top here, and George has been back in top form over his last two games. He has 88.6 FanDuel points between him. Expect George to flirt with 40 once again.
Honorable Mention:
Trevor Ariza, Rockets ($6,000): Arizaās hot streak ended against San Antonio about a week ago, but the whole Houston team struggled with the Spurs. He has been good since then, averaging 29.5 FanDuel points per game in theĀ four games since then. He likely wonāt hit 40 again anytime soon, but if you arenāt paying for George, Ariza is a must.
Nicolas Batum, Hornets ($6,000): Batum returned to the starting lineup last night, and responded with 40.7 FanDuel points. Washington poses a fairly tough challenge, but expecting 30 from Batum isnāt much of a reach.
If Youāre Cheap:
Marcus Morris, Pistons ($5,300): Morris in nowhere near his December production, but he has still been over 20 FanDuel points inĀ ten of his lastĀ 12 games. He is consistently providing above 4x value. You can do worse on a light night like tonight.
Stanley Johnson, Pistons ($4,600): Johnson racked up 44.3 FanDuel points in 44 minutes in place of the injured Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. He will be widely owned, but you really canāt afford not to play him if he goes off like that again.
My Picks: Batum and Johnson
Next: Do You Need To Spend On Anthony Davis?

Power Forward:
Best Bet:
Marvin Williams, Hornets ($5,700): The return of Batum, Cody Zeller, and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was thought to hinder the minutes of Williams. It was not so last night. He played 32 minutes and racked up 36.8 FanDuel points in the process. That said, if he struggles to start a game, he will likely have a shorter leash than he did a week ago.
Myles Turner, Pacers ($5,600): Turner has had more than 20 FanDuel points in every game over his last 11 contests. His price is still low enough that he can provide you with a big boost to your lineup.
Honorable Mention:
Ersan Ilyasova, Pistons ($5,200): Ilyasova is still about as inconsistent as they come. If you are willing to roll the dice, you never know when he will pay off though.
If Youāre Cheap:
Josh Smith, Rockets ($4,200): Smith is back down to 20 minutes a game, but he is still outplaying Clint Capela. Smith has averaged 20.7 FanDuel points per game since Houston signed him. That is nearly 4x value. If you are going to gamble on a Houston PF, it should probably be Smith.
My picks: Williams and Turner
Next: Who Is The Best At C?

Center:
Best Bets:
Andre Drummond, Pistons ($8,500): His rebounding ability gives him a very high floor, which is more than enough to make up for all the points that he gives away because of poor free throw shooting. He is the only center today with the ability to hit 50. Just be aware that he might wind up in the 30ās as well.
Honorable Mention:
Marcin Gortat, Wizards ($6,700): Gortat has his best game of 2016 last night against Philadelphia. The biggest thing to take away from that is not his FanDuel output (41.1), but his minutes. He played more than 30 minutes for the first time since January 26th. The going wont be as easy against Charlotte, but he is worth a look if you canāt afford Drummond.
If Youāre Cheap:
Meyers Leonard, Trailblazers ($4,000): He is a starter for this price with Noah Vonleh still out. Leonard isnāt a threat to go much over 20, but that is still 5x value if you want to spend big elsewhere.
My Pick: Gortat
