Here are my FanDuel NBA Picks for February 9th:
Next: There Are Bargains At PG

Point Guards:
Best Bets:
Stephen Curry, Warriors ($10,900): Curry has three straight games of under 38 FanDuel points to close out January, but he has picked up his pace again in February. Curry has scored 112.6 FanDuel points in two February games and will be on three days rest coming into this one. Oh, and did I mention that he gets the Rockets? It wouldnāt surprise me if Curry had the most points of anyone tonight.
John Wall, Wizards ($10,200): Wall had a few substandard games (for him), falling under 40 FanDuel points five times in his lastĀ eleven games. However, Wall has racked up 159.4 FanDuel points in his last three games. He is playing at a high level right now, and has a nice matchup against the Knicks. If you need to free up $700 tonight, the dropoff from Curry to Wall likely wont be a steep one.
Honorable Mention:
Isaiah Thomas, Celtics ($8,000): Thomas has actually put up better numbers since the return of Marcus Smart. Thomas is averaging 36.5 FanDuel pointsĀ over his last five games.Ā His minutes are down a little, but us DFS players donāt care so long as he is producing at that kind of level.
Goran Dragic, Heat ($5,700): I am going with the consistency of Dragic over the up and down Michael Carter-Williams. Dragic has averaged 25.7 FanDuel points per game since his return on January 29th. That puts him near 4.5x value. I would expect closer to 4x against the Spurs, but since you never know what youāre getting with MCW, Dragic is a much safer bet.
If Youāre Cheap:
Patrick Beverley, Rockets ($4,900): Beverleyās low price makes him a low risk. He isnāt much of a threat to hit 30 FanDuel points, but he is consistently in the 24-28 range, which makes him right around 6x value.Ā If you take out the disaster against Portland on Saturday, he isĀ still at a Ā 25.3 FanDuel point average over his last seven games. Expect him near that level against the Warriors
My picks:Ā Wall and Beverley

Shooting Guards:
Best Bet:
James Harden, Rockets ($10,800): I was high on Harden and his matchup against the Suns on Thursday, and he failed us with a poor shooting day. Harden does enough to always get you something ā 36.8 FanDuel points wonāt kill you ā but it certainly wonāt help you place either. When it comes down to it, everyone at this price is a risk, but Harden, even on off nights, is close enough to 4x value to not hurt you too badly. You can still place if Harden is a bit of a whiff in large tournaments. The thing to watch here is his hand. He didnāt play the last six minutes against Portland on Saturday, and was seen having it iced on the bench. They didnāt need him in that game, but just make sure you check his status before game time tonight.
Khris Middleton, Bucks ($7,300): Middleton has hit a bit ofĀ a rough patch lately, but the minutes are still constant. He is in no danger of losing minutes in the Bucks rotation it seems. Boston plays pretty good defense, but Middleton is still a good threat to get near 4x value.
Honorable Mention:
Brad Beal, Wizards ($5,900): Beal has averaged 27.2 FanDuel points over his last four games as the Wizards are still bringing him along slowly. That said, he is still right at 4.5x value, and he has a high ceiling if the Wizards turn him loose.
Rodney Hood, Jazz ($5,800): Hood, aside from his awful game against Denver on February 3rd, has been a constant 5x value on average. You want him on your team as long as the price remains this low.
If Youāre Cheap:
Danny Green, Spurs ($4,200): Greenās early season slump is mostly over. He still isnāt a consistent threat, but at this price, he is usually a steal. He has gone over 24 FanDuel points in two of his last three games, and with Manu Ginobili still out, Green should see plenty of chances to produce at a low price.
My picks: Beal and Hood
Next: Should You Pay For LeBron James?

Small Forwards:
Best Bet:
Carmelo Anthony, Nets ($8,900): Anthony is still dealing with a sore knee, but when he has played over the last eight games, he has done very well. He has played five games in that stretch and has averaged 42.7 FanDuel points in those games.
Gordon Hayward, Jazz ($7,900): Hayward sometimes struggles to hit value if his shot isnāt falling. We have seen that happen a few times in his last five games. That said, he is the only SF that realistically has a shot at 50 FanDuel points on any given night. I wouldnāt bet on it against Dallas, but Hayward lit up Charlotte for 57.5 a couple of weeks ago. If you want to roll the dice a little, Hayward has more upside than other options tonight.
Honorable Mention:
Kawhi Leonard, Spurs ($7,300): Leonard does enough of everything to make him an appealing daily option. He has been above 23 FanDuel points in every game for nearly two months. He is usually right around 4x value, but we have seen him get into the 40ās at times. He is a consistent option that wonāt hurt you on a down night.
Evan Turner, Celtics ($5,900): The Celticsā rotations are about to get very interesting with everyone back at full health. Turnerās minutes have slid a little with the return of Marcus Smart and with Jae Crowder back at full strength, but the production is still there. He has averaged 28.7 FanDuel points per game over his last ten games. That puts him squarely at 4.5x value.
If Youāre Cheap:
Luol Deng, Heat ($4,900): The Heat have a tough matchup against the Spurs tonight, but if you want to go cheap at SF, Deng is the best bet. The Heat have been playing Justise Winslow a lot lately, but I trust the veteran Deng a lot more against the ferocious Spurs. Deng is consistently between 23 and 30 FanDuel points ā he has only missed that mark twice in his last ten games ā so he is a much lower risk than Winslow.
My Picks: Leonard and Ariza
Next: Do You Need To Spend On Draymond Green?

Power Forward:
Best Bet:
Draymond Green, Warriors ($9,100): Last Wednesday, Green became just the eighth player in the last 33 years to post 10 or more triple-doubles in the same season. He does so many things well that he is a low risk option at a high price. He is much more likely to get you 4x value that 3x, which is more than you can say for most players priced this high. Play him with confidence against the Houston frontcourt.
LaMarcus Aldridge, Spurs ($7,300): LMA has been tearing opponents up lately. In his last four games, he has averaged 41.8 FanDuel points per game. The bad news? In the previous five he was at 24.2. Still, with the way he has been playing lately, he may be worth a look against the Heat.
Honorable Mention:
Chris Bosh, Heat ($7,200): Boshasaurus is the yang to LMAās yin. Bosh is about as consistent as they come. He has been between 24 and 37 FanDuel points in every game in 2016. If you want to roll the dice, use Aldridge. If you want consistency, use Bosh.
Kristaps Porzingis, Knicks ($6,700): He has had his ups and downs in his first NBA season, but Porzingis has the potential to drop 40 every time he steps on the court. Of course, he also has the potential to get under 20. Use caution against a pretty good Washington frontcourt tonight, but you never know when he will go off.
If Youāre Cheap:
Jared Sullinger, Celtics ($5,600): Sullinger still isnāt seeing nearly enough minutes to be a consistent contributor, but he seems to be on an upswing right now. He has averaged 29.6 FanDuel points over his last three games despite only seeing 21 minutes. Whether it means an uptick in playing time is anyoneās guess, but can the Celtics afford to keep him on the bench with him playing this well?
Amarāe Stoudemire, Heat ($4,300): The veteran has carved out a nice role in the Heat frontcourt, playing 16 or more minutes over his last ten games. His production has been right at 20 FanDuel points per game in that span. That makes him a solid 4.5x value if you want to go cheap.
My picks: Green and Stoudemire
Next: Who Is The Best At C?

Center:
Best Bets:
Greg Monroe, Bucks ($7,900): Monroe has averaged 34.3 FanDuel points per game over his last ten. His season average is 33.4. They donāt get any more consistent than Monroe. He has not been below 25 FanDuel points in a game since late December. If you have the money, you know what you are getting with Monroe.
Honorable Mention:
Rudy Gobert, Jazz ($7,500): Gobert has a little more upside than Monro, but he isnāt quite as consistent. Still, he hasnāt been below 23 FanDuel points since his return to the court, and he has topped 40 four times since then, including his last two games. If you want to take a bit of a risk, Gobert could pay off big time.
Marcin Gortat, Wizards ($6,900): Gortat has his best game of 2016Ā on FridayĀ against Philadelphia. The biggest thing to take away from that is not his FanDuel output (41.1), but his minutes. He played more than 30 minutes for the first time since January 26th, and he duplicated that feat on Saturday against the Hornets. Gortat should be close to the numbers of Monroe and Gobert, but he lacks the upside.
If Youāre Cheap:
Andrew Bogut, Warriors ($4,200): He is a cheap starter against a weaker interior (Houston), and his backup is hurt. If you want to take a flier, Bogut could come up big tonight.
My Pick: Gortat
