Week 2 of the 2016 NFL season is already upon us.  This time of year seems to fly right by.  This week in DFS we should see things start to settle down a little bit.  Pricing was adjusted at both Fanduel and Draftkings.  Fanduel pricing remains a little soft, but they are getting better.  Let’s take a look at my week 2 Fanduel cash and GPP lineups.  These lineups are for the main slate on Fanduel, which includes the Sunday and Monday night games. Let’s get to the NFL Week 2 Fanduel Lineups!

Fanduel GPP Lineup Week 2:

These are the lineups I will be rolling with in most of my Cash Games and in a few of my GPP’s.  Let’s take a look at what these guy.

I know the majority of players will be on the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants game and I can’t blame them.  That is supposed to be one of the highest scoring games on the board and could end up being that way.  I personally did not go all in on that game because when people put all their eggs in one basket, things usually do not go as planned.

At the QB position, I went with Matthew Stafford.  He has been lights out over his past 10 games, and I do not think the Tennessee Titans will be able to slow him down.  He’s at home, and I think he will have similar, but better numbers than Eli Manning, who will be the most popular QB play today.

C.J. Anderson is the focal point of the Denver Bronco offense, and will see a solid workload and gets an awful defense this week.  He will be effective both rushing and in the passing game.  I paired him up with Theo Riddick.  Stafford loves using Riddick in the passing game, and last week he was used as a rusher more than he has in the past.  I think he will be a difference maker and get back into the endzone again today.

At the WR position, I got my exposure to the Saints and Giants game.  Odell Beckham will not be able to be guarded today.  The Saints secondary is brutal, injured, and will get lit up by Odell today, I just hope he gets the red zone looks this week.  Willie Snead has proven to be one of Brees’ favorite and most dependable targets.  A lot of attention will be paid to Brandin Cooks, so I see Snead getting a ton of volume today.  Will Fuller had a monster game last week that should have been even bigger.  With DeAndre Hopkins drawing the coverage, I see Fuller continuing to be a target monster with a chance to reach the endzone more than once today.

At the Tight End position, I have Delanie Walker everywhere, and he is likely going to be the highest owned TE today.  That doesn’t bother me.  The Lions were abused by Andrew Luck and the TE’s of the Colts last week, as they scored 3 TD’s.  Marcus Mariota has a chance to go off today against a weak Detroit Defense, and Delanie Walker is in for a huge game.  I chose Matt Prater for that same reason….and HE IS LISTED TO PLAY LOL.  I still can’t believe I played a kicker that wasn’t playing last week and still cashed!  Finally, the Baltimore defense gets the Cleveland Browns.  Last week Baltimore completely shut down a Buffalo Bills team that lit up the New York Jets on Thursday night.  I like Baltimore here simply because the Browns are that bad.  Now let’s take a look at the GPP Lineup for this week.

This week I’m getting a little crazy with the GPP Lineup.  I’m going to be riding and dying with Joe Flacco and Mike Wallace.  Last week the Cleveland Browns made Carson Wentz, a player who thew a total of 14 passes in the preseason, look like an All Pro.  This week, I get a better QB with better weapons, going up against that same Cleveland Brown defense.  I chose to pair Flacco up with Mike Wallace because of the big play potential.  Wallace should be able to get deep at will, and Flacco is one of the best deep ball throwers in the NFL.  If they can hook up for a deep one today, this lineup will be in business.

I paid up at the running back position for the GPP Lineup simply because I believe most players will construct lineups with higher priced WR’s and try to go cheap at RB.  Ezekiel Elliott has a chance to reach 30 touches this week.  I will take that all day against a Washington Redskins team who let DeAngelo Williams run rampant over them last week.  Talk of Lamar Miller has been quiet this week.  He is definitely going to get his touches, and I think the Kansas City Chiefs are vulnerable this week.

I paired Mike Wallace up with Vincent Jackson and Julio Jones.  Jackson is going to benefit from the Arizona Cardinals shadowing Mike Evans with Patrick Peterson.  Arizona will put up points against Tampa Bay today which with force Tampa Bay to throw the ball to keep up, I like Jackson to be the biggest beneficiary.  Did anyone else notice how bad the Oakland Raider secondary played last week?  Now Julio Jones comes to town and I think he goes off.  I’ll take him as a pivot off the likely higher owned Odell Beckham.

I went with Jordan Reed at Tight End.  I don’t think Dallas has anyone that can cover him, and he will be extremely under owned because most people will be playing Walker.  Josh Lambo makes it as my kicker.  Those late afternoon games in San Diego get wild, and I get a San Diego team who is favored at home over the Jacksonville Jaguars.  At defense I chose the Los Angeles Rams.  The Seattle Seahawks were beat in the trenches last week by the Miami Dolphins.  I know the Rams were destroyed by the San Francisco 49ers, but I see them coming out with fire this week.  It’s their home opener, against a division rival who is a Super Bowl contender, with a banged up QB.  The Rams have won 3 of 4 from Seattle and this is the 1st game in LA in over 20 years.  The Rams will be fired up and I like this match up.
