WWE Roadblock 2016: Full match results
Full match results from WWE Roadblock 2016 on Sunday, December 18 from PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA
The past year in WWE has certainly been a wild one, but nothing stands out more than the brand split and division of the main roster. That has resulted in a bit of good and bit of bad for the overall product. However, it’s hard to ignore that it’s been the defining trait of pro wrestling—or at least WWE. So it’s only fitting that 2016 would end with a brand-specific pay-per-view as the WWE RAW brand puts on WWE Roadblock 2016 from PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh on Sunday, Dec. 18.
Also fitting for the final PPV show of the year, the main event will feature one of the new titles created this year. Kevin Owens will put his Universal Championship on the line against current United States Champion, Roman Reigns. Owens’ reign as champ has been highlighted by him getting by, but Reigns is looking to end that streak.
Meanwhile, Owens’ running mate will face off with Roman’s former tag-team partner as Chris Jericho faces off with Seth Rollins. Perhaps even bigger, though, there will be a 30-minute Iron Woman math for the Women’s Championship as title-holder Sasha Banks defends against Charlotte. This feels like the final chapter between these two—for now at least.
Also on the card at WWE Roadblock will be The New Day putting their now record-long title reign as tag champs on the line against Cesaro and Sheamus. Moreover, Sami Zayn will face Braun Strowman and Rich Swann will face TJ Perkins and The Brian Kendrick in a triple threat for the Cruiserweight Championship.
Obviously you won’t want to miss any of the action and you don’t have to. Below, we’ll deliver with a live tracker of the full match results from WWE Roadblock 2016. A result with a link will take you to highlights from that match, as well.

Frankly, that was a bit of a disappointing show. They had a lot of opportunity to do some fun, unique and interesting things. Instead, this felt like a glorified episode of RAW.

But really, that should have been somewhat expected. Save for the title change with the tag belts and Neville turning heel on the Cruiserweights, this is all just a buffer leading up to the Rumble. Yes, they could have still made things a bit more unpredictable or exciting—especially in the main event—but RAW has never been subtle when they’re biding their time.
