Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan Found Tevin Coleman open in the end zone for the touchdown.
The great offenses in the NFL know how to make plays when they’re backed up against their own end zone. After Seattle Seahawks punter Jon Ryan pinned the Atlanta Falcons on their own one-yard line, Matt Ryan went to work.
Wanting to get points on the board before the end of the half, Ryan tore apart the Seahawks’ secondary and made nice little throws to get his team down the field. To top it off, he found running back Tevin Coleman open in the end zone with no one around him for the touchdown.
Coming out of college, Coleman wasn’t known as much of a receiver as he was a runner but that’s changed in Atlanta. He’s learned how to run routes better and his impact as a running back that can catch the ball has allowed him to make plays like this one.
For Seattle, it was just another bad defensive drive as they couldn’t get enough pressure on Ryan and force him to make errant throws. Give credit to the Falcons’ receivers as they were able to make the moves to get open.
Coleman finished it with quite the grab and even did a little dance for his troubles after. With the Falcons getting the ball to start the second half, it was a huge touchdown for them to get even more points on the board.
