DraftKings NHL Picks: January 19th
Tonight’s slate features eight games with Toronto (3.4), Anaheim (3.2), Columbus (3.2), New York (3.2), and Minnesota (3.2) holding the best projected team totals. I’ll be targeting players from these teams in cash games. Here are my DraftKings NHL picks.

NYR vs. TOR (-125), O/U: 6.5
WAS (-135) vs. STL, O/U: 5
ARI vs. MIN (-303), O/U: 5
NAS vs. CGY (-125), O/U: 5
COL vs. ANA (-285), O/U: 5
TB vs. SJ (-135), O/U: 5
DraftKings NHL Picks:
Connor Brown – TOR (W) – $4600
Toronto will play host to the visiting New York Rangers, in what projects to be the highest scoring game of the night. Both teams have plenty of offensive fire power, and Connor Brown is an affordable option with tremendous upside. At only $4600, Brown will be skating with the second line, as well as getting time on the top power play unit. Given Toronto’s projected team total of 3.4 goals, Brown is one of the best value plays on the slate.

Nazem Kadri – TOR (C) – $5700
Nazem Kadri is another relatively cheap player that could be used to get exposure to the Maple Leafs. Kadri will be skating on the top line and playing on the second power play unit. Kadri provides a safe fantasy floor from this ability to gain points in peripheral categories. Kadri is averaging 3.50 shots on goal this month.
Ryan McDonagh – NYR (D) – $5300
Ryan McDonagh is an intriguing option tonight as we can expect the pace of play to be up, and both teams forcing each other to be more offensive minded. McDonagh will be part of the first defensive pairing as well as playing on the first power play unit. Aside from his last game, McDonagh has seen a slight bump in playing time, playing around 25 minutes per game in his last 3 outings.
