DraftKings NHL Picks: February 3rd

Tonight’s DraftKings NHL Picks features five games, with Pittsburgh (3.3), Carolina (3.1), and Detroit (2.9), holding the best projected team totals. I’ll be targeting players from these teams in cash games. Here my DraftKings NHL picks.

CLB vs. PIT (-155), O/U: 6

EDM vs. CAR (-155), O/U: 5.5

CGY vs. NJD (-115), O/U: 5

NYI vs. DET (-118), O/U: 5.5

ANA vs. FLA (-120), O/U: 5

Patric Hornqvist – PIT (W) – $5800

Pittsburgh will play host to the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight, in a game where the Pens have the highest projected team total on the night, at 3.3 goals. Patric Hornqvist is in a prime spot to pad his fantasy stats. With injuries up front, Pittsburgh is forced to juggle their lines and Hornqvist is now skating on the top line along side of Sidney Crosby. Expect Hornqvist to see some more action, above his recently low time on the ice.

Elias Lindholm – CAR (W) – $4100

Elias Lindholm has been reaching or exceeding value in nearly every game since his return. Continuing to fire the puck on net whenever he can, has led Lindholm to some impressive fantasy outputs. Carolina has a favorable projection of 3.1 goals tonight against the visiting Oilers.

Trevor Daley – PIT (D) – $3800

Trevor Daley is one of the punt options available on tonight’s slate. While his upside can be somewhat limited, he still continues to bring value through his shot blocking and shots on goal. Over the last 30 days, Daley has averaged 2.36 shots on goal and 1.55 blocks. Daley will also get some run on the second power play line and can hopefully find the score sheet, in what projects to be a shootout of a game.
