DraftKings NHL Picks:
Blake Wheeler – WPG (W) – $6600
Winnipeg will play host to the visiting Minnesota Wild, where the Jets are a +106 home dog. While the matchup isn’t all that appealing, Wheeler is priced down because of it. Wheeler continues to produce and provides safety through his shots on goal. He’s averaging 3.86 shots on goal per game and 20.39 minutes per game, this month. With his usage this high, Wheeler is an attractive option.

James Neal – NAS (W) – $5300
James Neal projects to skate on the top line tonight, alongside of Ryan Johansen and Filip Forsberg. Nashville has a projected team total of 3 goals, and if Neal continues to fire the puck on net, he should have plenty of opportunities to find the score sheet. Neal is averaging over 3 shots per game for both the recent month, as well as, the year.
Nikita Zaitsev – TOR (D) – $4300
Nikita Zaitsev was able to take advantage of and injured defensive unit, and is now part of the top defense pairing for the Leafs. Zaitsev has had one of the safest fantasy floors, through his shots and blocks. Over the course of the last month, Zaitsev has averaged 1.31 shots and 2.23 blocks. Zaitsev will also provide upside, as he’s slated to play the point on the top powerplay unit. Given Toronto’s projected team total of 3.4 goals, Zaitsev should be considered.
Other value players to consider: Evander Kane, Ken Agostino, Alex Tuch, Phil Kessel
