DraftKings NHL Picks:
Chris Kunitz – PIT (W) – $3900
With the reshuffling of the lines, Pittsburgh will be kicking it old school, with Chris Kunitz playing on the top line alongside Crosby. When we find players being given more opportunity, without a price increase, we need to pounce. His new role on the top line and second power play unit have already proven to be beneficial, as he’s recorded over 17 minutes in each of his last two games, and was able to crush value, in each game.

Cody Eakin – DAL (C) – $3900
Cody Eakin is another forward that will now assume a greater role in the offense, playing on the first line, as well as, the first power play unit. Similarly to Kunitz, Eakin has seen a jump in his time on the ice. In the last two games, Eakin has over 21 minutes of playing time. Eakin only averages 16.11 minutes per game, thus providing extra value at the given price.
Nikita Zaitsev – TOR (D) – $4300
Nikita Zaitsev has seen a slight price increase, but he will still be in play in cash games. His safety comes from peripheral scoring, where he’s racking up 1.31 shots and 2.46 blocks per game, this month. While a fantasy floor is important we also don’t want to completely eliminate upside. Zaitsev will provide upside in addition to his floor, as he’ll be manning the point on the top power play unit.
Martin Hanzal – ARI (C) – $4600
While Arizona is in a very tough match-up against Carey Price and the Montreal Canadians, Hanzal has proven to be able to reach value, regardless of the match-up. Hanzal is a high volume shooter and has averaged 3.78 shots on goal per game this month.
