DraftKings NBA Picks for February 11
There are seven NBA games tonight, but we have many stars to choose from in our DraftKings tournament. We have four players that top $10,000. Another four players are over $9,000. Who should we pay for?
Don’t forget to follow @fantasycpr on Twitter for lineup updates as we get them leading to the tipoffs of the games! I am not always able to get back in here and fix my picks when someone sits for the night, but we will update it on Twitter.

Most of my picks end up being a little on the conservative side, so these lineups may be better suited for cash games, though I usually play both types.
Last night’s second lineup would have placed well in the GPP tournaments if I had left Tony Allen in instead of switching to John Henson.

Point Guards
Best Bets:
Russell Westbrook ($12,600): Durant is going to steal the headlines with his return to Oklahoma City, but Westbrook put up 121.25 DraftKings points in the two games in Oakland. He should not be overlooked here. Westbrook has more than 70 DraftKings points in three out of the last four games. Don’t be surprised if he gets there again.
Giannis Antetokouonmpo ($10,500): Yes, this comes just one day after my laundry list of why I don’t play Giannis often. I stand by my reasons. However, I saw Giannis put up 68 DraftKings points last night in the first game post Jabari Parker. It seems as though he will shoulder a much larger scoring load, which makes him worth the cash. He put up 55.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting against the Pacers with Parker in the lineup. What can he do without him?
Isaiah Thomas ($9,200): Yes, Utah is tough at the guard spot. Someone forgot to tell Thomas. He put up 62 DraftKings points on them in the first meeting. Of course, George Hill missed that game. Hill is slated to play tonight, but I trust Thomas a lot more than I trust Hill on a balky toe defending him.
Honorable Mention:
Kyrie Irving ($8,400): I’m not all that concerned about a blowout since Denver has been putting up a ton of points lately. There could be a lot of value in this game, and it starts with Irving. He has not been over 5x value yet in February, but he has not been under 4x either. I’m saying this will be his first 5x value game of the month with how liberally the Nuggets allow points to point guards.
Patrick Beverley ($5,600): Beverley gets a huge boost tonight from playing the Suns. Beverley has 74 DraftKings points in two games against Phoenix so far this year. He isn’t the most consistent guy around, but he does well in situations like this. Beverley has also topped 5x value in three straight games.
Dark Horses:
Tyler Johnson ($5,500): Goran Dragic has struggled to reach 5x value against Philadelphia. Johnson has not. He has 55.25 DraftKings points over two games, which puts him right at 5x value. He put up 35.5 of those last Saturday against the Sixers. There is reason for optimism here.
Malcolm Brogdon ($5,000): Brogdon’s good play with Dellavedova out has translated into consistent playing time for him. He has at least 5x value in six of the last ten games, so there is some risk involved. He did manage 29.5 DraftKings points in his one game against Indiana this year. There is a good chance he is in that area tonight.
Jameer Nelson ($4,400): Nelson racked up 41 DraftKings points on the Knicks last night with Emmanuel Mudiay out again. Nelson’s price is insanely low considering the matchup he has tonight. The Cavs have given up plenty of DraftKings points to point guards this year. He should get at least 6x value.
My pick: Antetokuonmpo(PG), Brogdon(SG), Nelson(G); Beverley(PG)
Shooting Guards
Best Bets:
Devin Booker ($6,800): The gap between Harden and the rest of the pack doesn’t seem so large with Booker playing like he is. Last night he topped 40 DraftKings points for the third time in five games. He has put up 73 DraftKings points in two games against Houston so far. That would leave him close to 6x value if he can do it again.
Victor Oladipo ($6,300): Oladipo has 64.5 DraftKings points in two games against the Warriors this year, which would put him right at 5x value if he can do it again. The Thunder want to protect the court tonight as the villain returns to Oklahoma City. Did the fans forgive Durant? Or is there going to be backlash in the arena? At any rate, this is going to feel like a playoff game. The Thunder should step up their game in this one.
Honorable Mention:
James Harden ($12,900): Harden is a lock for 55 points or so tonight. The bad news is that he needs 64.5 DraftKings points to hit 5x value. That is an absurd number. Playing the Suns usually translates into higher upside for opponents. That hasn’t been the case with Harden. He only has 114.5 DraftKings points in two games. Again, that is a good total, but it is still only 4.5x value. He also played only 64 minutes combined in those games.
Will Barton ($6,300): Barton has averaged 44.3 DraftKings points over the last three games with Danilo Gallinari and Kenneth Faried out. He did come off the bench last night, which limited his value some, but if you are going to complain about 38 DraftKings points that this price, it seems a bit ridiculous. Barton is a sure 6x value right now, which is what you need to cash in GPP’s.
Dark Horses:
Gary Harris ($5,000): The Denver offense is really humming right now, so you would hope that the coaching staff doesn’t monkey with it, even if Faried is healthy. Harris has averaged 28 DraftKings points over the last three games. He has a legitimate shot at 6x value in what should be an up tempo game against Cleveland.
Wayne Ellington ($4,200): Ellington has put up 5x value in the last two games starting in place of the injured Dion Waiters. It looks very unlikely that Waiters will be on the court tonight, so Ellington is in play a cap relief in cash games. He doesn’t have a ton of upside, but he is a certain 5x value.
My pick: N/A; Booker(SG), Barton(G)
Small Forwards
Best Bets:
Kevin Durant ($9,700): LeBron James has failed to reach 5x value in each of the last two games, and who knows what will happen with Denver. Giannis is eligible at SF, but I would still bet that Durant outscores him. That’s right. Durant has averaged 61.9 DraftKings points in the two games against the Thunder in Oakland. It is going to be an emotional game, and I have a feeling that Durant comes up huge here. The only downside is that he will likely be 50% owned or more.
Paul George ($8,100): George kept rolling last night, and now has at least 5x value in nine of the last 12 games. He fell a bit short in his first game against the Bucks, but he still picked up 37.75 DraftKings points in that one. The inconsistency that George showed for a lot of the early season seems to be gone. He is a nice option for this price range.
Honorable Mention:
Wilson Chandler ($7,200): Chandler has averaged 43.2 DraftKings points in the last five games that he has started. So long as Denver keeps him in the starting lineup, He has been a lock for 6x value. Also, he is eligible at power forward, which can help us maneuver to use all the good small forwards tonight.
Robert Covington ($5,900): Covington has hit 5x value or more in nine of the last ten games. He also put up 27.5 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Miami. If Waiters is out, I like this play even more. Covington does have some upside as he showed at the end of January when he put up 102.5 DraftKings points in consecutive games. Covington is an interesting play tonight.
Dark Horses:
Michael Beasley ($4,200): Beastley is back! The Bucks gave Beasley 23 minutes in which he put up 26.75 DraftKings points. We have seen flashes of what he can do with good minutes throughout his tumultuous career, but consistency has always been an issue. However, he is in a good situation here where he can be a big part of a supporting cast here. Beasley will probably be highly owned tonight, but if you need salary relief, here is it.
Andre Roberson ($3,900): Roberson has averaged 33 DraftKings points per game over the last three outings while playing an average of 38 minutes per game. We found where Enes Kanter‘s minutes and production went. Some went to Westbrook. Some went to Kanter’s replacements. Most has been picked up by Roberson. His success against Cleveland sealed it for me. It isn’t a fluke anymore.
My Pick: Durant(SF), George(F), Beasley(UTIL); Durant(SF), Beasley(F), Roberson(UTIL)
Power Forwards
Best Bets:
Draymond Green ($7,500): Green has picked up 77.75 DraftKings points in two games against the Thunder, which puts him a shade over 5x value. He has also topped 5x value in each of the last three games after hitting a slow stretch. It looks safe to use Green again.
Serge Ibaka ($6,600): This doesn’t look like a good matchup on paper for Ibaka, but he did pick up 34.75 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Dallas. He has been over 40 DraftKings points in four of the last six games. He still lacks consistency, but he is beginning to come around.
Honorable Mention:
James Johnson ($6,100): One thing is clear: whomever the Sixers throw in at center with Joel Embiid out is nowhere near as talented as Embiid himself. That weakens Philadelphia’s frontcourt with Embiid out. For that reason, I am willing to use Johnson in what looks like a less than ideal matchup. Of course, his better than 5x value in six out of the last eight games doesn’t hurt.
Ersan Ilyasova ($5,500): Ilyasova has made short work of the Heat so far this year. In two games, he has 62.5 DraftKings points. That production puts him close to 6x value. He has only had one game below value in Embiid’s most recent absence, and that was against the rough and tumble Pistons. He is one of the safest options out there.
Dark Horses:
Dirk Nowitzki ($5,300): Nowitzki finally looks to be back on track. He has 76.5 DraftKings points over the last two games. Though Orlando doesn’t present a good matchup for him on paper, he could be an interesting contrarian play. It could also fail miserably as he struggled against Denver three games ago.
Derrick Favors ($5,000): Favors has played over 25 minutes in each of his last three games, and his production has exploded as a result. He is averaging 31.3 DraftKings points per game in those contests. He picked up 29.5 in the first meeting against Boston. Favors could be an absolute steal at this price.
Darrell Arthur ($3,500): Arthur has topped 5x value in six straight games. He has gone over 7x value in four of those. If Kenneth Faried sits again, Arthur is almost a must-play right now. Drawing the start didn’t do a ton for his production since he only played a few more minutes than he is used to, but he definitely makes the most of his time on the court.
My pick: Favors(PF); Favors(PF)
Center
Best Bets:
Hassan Whiteside ($8,500): Many will be on Nikola Jokic after his outburst against the Knicks last night, but keep in mind that Joakim Noah was out. I don’t trust him against Cleveland. Instead, I will go with Whiteside who has absolutely destroyed the Sixers this year. He has 113.25 DraftKings points in only two games against them.

Rudy Gobert ($7,400): Gobert didn’t do well in the first meeting against Boston (25.75 DraftKings points), but he has been over 5x value in eight of the last ten games. The strong play of Favors seems to have helped Gobert, not held him back. Will that continue?
Honorable Mention:
Al Horford ($6,200): Utah is tough on centers, but Horford’s athleticism was very tough on them in the first meeting. Horford racked up 36.25 DraftKings points in that game. His price plummeted $1,000 from Thursday, so he could end up being a bargain tonight.
Steven Adams ($6,000): Adams has picked up his production with Kanter out, but what really has me considering him is what he did to the Cavs on Thursday. He abused Thompson on the inside, and is becoming more aggressive in the paint. He was average against the Warriors in the game that he played. His new found offensive prowess could really help him here.
Dark Horses:
Jahlil Okafor ($4,500): Okafor struggled against Orlando on Thursday, and destroyed many a lineup in the process. However, he still has a lot of potential for this price, and has a nice matchup against Miami. He put up 22.25 DraftKings points in 24 minutes in his only other game with the Heat this year. He likely wont play much more than that, so don’t expect huge dividends.
Alex Len ($3,000): Tyson Chandler left and did not return to last night’s game after an undisclosed ankle injury. Not only does this look good for Clint Capela, but it looks great for Len. He should get starter’s minutes at the bare minimum price. He is worth a shot in GPP tournaments.
My pick: Len(C); Whiteside(C)
