WWE Backlash 2017: Full match results
WWE Backlash 2017 will wow the crowds in Chicago, IL on Sunday, May 21, so keep track with all your results and highlights from the show
It’s been since WrestleMania 33 that we’ve seen the WWE SmackDown Live roster in action on a pay-per-view event. So it’s only fitting that they’d be welcomed back to the spotlight by a great crowd. That’s what everyone should expect from Chicago, IL for WWE Backlash 2017 on Sunday night.
What’s more, the fans will be treated to a show that could potentially leave everyone in the wrestling world talking. This, of course, begins with the debut of Shinsuke Nakamura in the ring on the main roster. After dominating New Japan Pro Wrestling and then NXT, the hype has been building for The King of Strong Style — and so too has his feud with Dolph Ziggler. Now they’ll finally come to blows at WWE Backlash.
Meanwhile, there is one of the most intriguing WWE Championship matches in some time. Randy Orton is quite accustomed to the top of the card. Jinder Mahal, however, is not so familiar with that position. Yet the two will face off on Sunday at WWE Backlash 2017 with the belt on the line. Could the maharaja pull the massive upset, with the help of the Singh Brothers of course.
The bad blood isn’t confined there at Backlash, though. Kevin Owens and AJ Styles have been going after one another. And now they’ll settle it with the United States title on the line. The newly formed Welcoming Committee has also been wreaking havoc on the women’s division.
