WWE Extreme Rules 2017 results and highlights from the show on Sunday, June 4 from Baltimore, MD

WWE Extreme Rules 2017 has the chance to be a show-stealer. Obviously we’re not talking about one of the marquee shows of the year. However, it’s a match that has interesting matchups throughout the card. What’s more, the results and events from WWE Extreme Rules could have huge implications for the rest of the booking throughout the summer.

In the main event from Baltimore, MD on Sunday, June 4, there will be a No. 1 Contender Fatal 5-Way that promises to be electric. Roman Reigns, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe and Bray Wyatt will all go toe-to-toe for the right to face Brock Lesnar. It’s hard to say whether facing the Beast Incarnate is a reward or not. However, having a shot at the Universal Championship certainly is.

With that said, there’s plenty more on the card that could be huge for what’s to come. Though the buildup has been painful at times, Alexa Bliss and Bayley can still go in the ring. Subsequently, those two should put on a great match for the RAW Women’s Championship.

Additionally, Neville and Austin Aries have great chemistry in the ring, and those two will battle for the Cruiserweight Championship. What’s more, The Hardy Boyz will defend their tag team belts against Sheamus and Cesaro, while Dean Ambrose puts the Intercontinental Championship on the line against The Miz.

It’s not difficult to see how all of this at WWE Extreme Rules has serious implications moving forward. Thus, you can’t miss any of the action or happenings on Sunday night. Luckily, you can keep track of all of the results and highlight below.

Even if it’s a show that traditionally doesn’t have a great deal of meaning, the wrestling can still be great. More importantly, though, you have to think long-term about what the show could mean. That makes WWE Extreme Rules a huge show moving into the summer.
