Fantasy Football: 3 Low Ownership Streaming Options For Week 3
Every fantasy football owner, whether they are in a DFS or a season-long format, knows that one of the greatest things that differentiates solid fantasy lineups from mediocre ones is an awareness of matchups in regards to streaming.
Another coveted trait is the ability to target players who have low ownership, so that the bounty of points they produce goes to you and you only. That’s right, be selfish with your points! For week 3, these three streaming options will help you produce plenty of points without having to worry about others mooching off your secrets. For that reason, I have only included players who have less than 20% ownership in both Yahoo and ESPN formats. That list includes:
Jermaine Kearse, WR New York Jets:
I know, how could I pick someone from the lowly Jets to fill a role on your legendary fantasy lineup?
Based on their week 2 performance, the Miami Dolphins secondary is struggling and their linebackers struggle to make plays. If this trend continues, it could be a high scoring week for Kearse, who appears to be the primary target for McCown in a matchup that may see the Jets forced the throw a lot against their high-flying division rivals. Kearse’s upside may be limited by McCown slightly, but if the Jets score two or three touchdowns, atleast one would likely target Kearse as a Week 3 streaming option.

Trevor Siemian QB, Denver Broncos
I had a true DFS star in the making interspersed into my lineups the past two weeks and his name is Trevor Siemian. Doubt him again if you want, his numbers have been solid. His team dominates at the line on both sides of the ball. He will be playing at Buffalo this week and is a great low ownership streaming option. For DFS players, a Bronco stack might be in the cards with C.J. Anderson playing well and Siemian passing to weapons Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas. Bottom line is: Keep an eye on Siemian as it seems possible that he could have the goods to become a star in a favorable system.
J.J. Nelson WR Arizona Cardinals
This Week 3 streaming option is brought to you by injuries! All jokes aside, having David Johnson, John Brown and Jermaine Gresham likely out against the Cowboys this upcoming week makes Nelson a necessary waiver wire and DFS pickup. Last week, he was a one man deep threat in an offense that loves to throw. He also punched the ball in on the ground, with a rushing TD that makes him an intriguing dual threat PPR option. Until one of the above options gets healthy, please pick up Nelson!
